The restaurant is full of character. A koi pond hidden behind a false front is a great surprise for the kids. Traditional seating in the back is a nice experience. The food is excellent and really emphasizes its freshness. We've never gone home hungry. Also, don't be afraid to try something other than sushi. It's all been very good.
What can I say about ichiban that hasn't been said over the years.
One of Austin's longest running traditional stylists that she houses. Come in and have the traditional seating with your shoes off or you can do a normal table and have your lunch.
Their house salad uses A carrot Ginger sauce which is delicious. The Miso soup also compliments it very well.

The atmosphere and sushi rolls are really good, the food tastes great but the prices are a bit higher than other places but I still recommend it as a place to choose for special occasions.
