The hostess found me a quiet table in the main restaurant but there are also hi-tops and bar seating as alternatives. I was greeted promptly and my choice of still water and an adult beverage showed up very fast. I ordered the 10oz filet and it came out perfectly cooked (extremely rare or blue). That is unusual for a steakhouse in the USA. I also had a side of asparagus and they came out perfectly too. The prices are not cheap here but the quality of the ingredients, cooking, service and ambience makes ip for that.
Our server Javier was great, made excellent recommendations and the service was excellent. Jose, the manager. Stopped by often to make sure everything was perfect. We were in town for a conference and my birthday and ate here 2 nights in a row. They celebrated my birthday 2 nights in a row. My favorite steakhouse and we visit once or twice a year and they remember us and are consistently excellent. The food is to die for and has never disappointed us once. Will keep making the trip to Austin for III Forks.
This was the second time we've celebrated our anniversary here & just like the first time III Forks hit a home run. We were greeted with complimentary glasses of champagne. The food and service were EXCELLENT! Never a disappointing moment at III Forks!
Chimichuri sauce and baked potatoes forgotten in order but arrived soon after we notified wait staff. Left over desserts packaged up to go and they replaced with full pieces. Thank you! UT Rowers and parents appreciated that so much! Amazing food! Have been here multiple times. Never disappoints!
Rama did an incredible job, so personable, had great recommendations and his attentiveness and service was impeccable. Ernest was great, remembered me and my daughter coming here last July and my wife and I from past visits from Phoenix. Tarek remembered us as well from last year. They made sure we were getting everything we needed and celebrated my birthday as well with awesome Pecan and Chocolate cake. We had French onion soup which is the best I have ever had, we had the seafood tower, so fresh and amazing. Then we had a filet mignon and 6 cheese mashed potatoes. Just wow. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted excellent. III Forks is my favorite steakhouse and we will continue traveling to Austin and will always spend our evenings for dinner here. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at III Forks in Austin, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The food was nothing short of amazing—each dish was meticulously crafted and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful journey of taste, showcasing creativity and a deep passion for culinary excellence. What truly set III Forks apart, however, was the service. Our waiters not only exuded warmth and genuine hospitality but also possessed an extraordinarily impressive background knowledge of every item on the menu. Their detailed explanations and insightful recommendations made the dining experience even more enjoyable, as we felt truly connected to the story behind each dish. In an era where great service and exceptional cuisine are hard to come by, III Forks excels on every level. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Austin, this restaurant is a must-visit destination. The combination of delectable food and unparalleled service creates an ambiance that’s both inviting and sophisticated—a true testament to the culinary artistry of III Forks.
Our server Melinda was amazing. She was kind, caring, attentive to my daughter. Was so knowledgeable about the entire menu and gave great detail about every entree. My wife's 46th birthday party. There was amazing.Thank you guys y'all are the best p.s not to mention the manager in that picture. Was the best I have ever seen? Not only is he a manager, but my daughter asked him for some gravy, and he went right over there to the kitchen and got it for her. That meant the world to me, the action alone if I could would give you more stars than just five keep up the great work
My husband and I came here for the first time tonight for dinner and it did not disappoint! Tim was our waiter and was so friendly and suggested a great dinner for the both of us. Started off with chicken fried lobster! So good! I had the cauliflower steak as well as the III Forks salad. My husband had the ribeye, with mashed potatoes. We will be back and recommend this place to our friends and family.

A very special dinner!!! Service was top notch! Food was excellent. My absolute favorites were the III Forks salad, the Filet Mignon "Baseball Cut” 10oz, the creamed corn, and the Six Cheese Potatoes. Strongly recommend those!!! My least favorite Chicken Fried Lobster, but I’m a purist on lobster, just liking it hot with butter. The waiter raved about this dish, so we did try it, but honestly for me, it lost the lobster flavor with all the breading on the small pieces of lobster. I wouldn’t order it again, but everyone has a different taste, the waiter thought it was the best! So thank you for a great meal! Look forward to trying your restaurant in Jacksonville when we travel that way! Hope it has the same great food and service!
Parking: wonderful valet parking right beside restaurant. opened until 11pm that night which allowed us to wander around the city… try to see the bats fly from under the bridge, etc.

As anticipated, the culinary offerings were of the highest caliber.

The steak we shared was $95. It was absolutely not as fine as expected. The reputation of your restaurant led us to use it for a special night out but I have had much better steaks at other sites in Austin. I realize that the flavor and tenderness of steaks can be variable but this was a true disappointment. Because this was a special occasion I didn’t make a scene to spoil our evening but this was certainly not worth this cost for a special dinner for a special lady.

This was the best food experience I have had, bare none! I got the American wagyu rib eye with king butter, ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Tarik Boudissa the GM was OUTSTANDING!!! I had an issue and he more than handled it! If I owned a restaurant I would do whatever it took to get him to run it! I also was able to meet the head chef Eric and just like every thing else at 3 Forks , outstanding! I have eaten at just about every major steakhouse in the US and hands down the best service from top to bottom I have ever had!
