All meal courses were really very good but the Chilean Sea bass was truly excellent and so were the mashed potatoes that came with it, even though, I usually do not care for potatoes!

I am writing regarding a concerning experience my husband, another guest, and I recently had at your restaurant. After we finished our meal, our server, Jameca, informed us that there was a 20% gratuity. It was presented as though it were mandatory, and we were not given the impression that it was optional. When she later brought the check, she stated that the tip was not yet included in our tab and walked away fast, which added to the confusion. We spoke with a manager and were informed that gratuity is not automatic for a party of three and even offered a refund on the gratuity. This was especially concerning because it became clear that Jameca had essentially CHOSE and TIPPED herself. To be clear, this is not about the tip amount. We have no issue tipping appropriately for service. The issue is the lack of transparency and the fact that the gratuity was misrepresented. We are not requesting a refund she obviously needed the money. We simply want this matter addressed with Jameca that way she doesn’t scam other guest. So please be wary of Jameca!! The food was great, the team was amazing! Our server was NOT it.

Went on 3/12/2026 and it was an amazing experience. The customer service was phenomenal, Bobby our waiter was attentive and recommended some amazing food. They made us feel extra special for our 23 year anniversary. The staff and management did great. We will definitely return on a regular basis. The drinks and desert were amazing. This place is a must try.

UPDATE: Manager called me personally to rectify and reschedule my party. Exceptional service, he did not have to do that.
Booked a standard table for Valentine’s Day for a party of one…. apparently one person can’t have a table (odd) and I was booked for the bar instead. That was not disclosed. I literally called yesterday to make sure I had a table because I changed the reservation to two people & they said yes.They just called me back today to basically tell me I’m SOL and I never had a table in the first place. Was excited to try this place, off my list.
Food was horrible. There was no skill or care in the execution for the dishes our party ordered and there was no quality control at the pass to make sure it never made it to the table. Pushy server who didn't seem concerned no one ate their food beyond first bite(s). Vibe felt like a hotel conference room more than an upscale establishment. It was also no wait during prime time and overall not very busy, not a good sign. III Forks is now off our list forever.

The food was very, very good, but the service was probably one of the best I’ve ever experienced. Our server was exceptional with recommendations, she was very attentive and we were well taken care of during the entire meal. Every single staff member that passed our table checked on us. Every. Single. One. Then we wet over to the bar afterwards for a cocktail and the bartenders were just as phenomenal. They even came to my side of the bar when rounding to make sure I was satisfied with my drink. The cherry on top was that they CALLED ME the next day to once again, thank me for my business. This place is an absolute masterclass for exceptional service. I will visit this steakhouse every time I’m in the area.

Hands down one of the best date-night experiences I’ve had in Austin. I took my girlfriend here and everything—from start to finish—was absolutely top tier.
We ordered the tomahawk steak, which was cooked to perfection, brought tableside, and carved exactly how we wanted it. A really cool touch was getting to choose our own knives from a beautiful selection—it added to the whole experience and made it feel extra special.
The appetizers were just as impressive. The calamari was perfectly crispy, and the Caesar salads were fresh, flavorful, and done right. Shoutout to the bartender as well—clearly knows how to craft a perfect cocktail. Every drink was spot on.
What really set the night apart was the GM personally coming over to thank us for dining with them. That level of hospitality doesn’t go unnoticed and truly shows how much they care about their guests.
Overall, a 10/10 experience. Exceptional food, service, and atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back and highly recommend this place for a special night out.

Excellent experience. Food was fabulous and our waitress, Gina, was exceptional. It is expensive but well worth it.
