As usual, Intero never disappoints. The menu options definitely provide "something for everyone." The food presentation was amazing, food was awesome and all of the flavors used really enhanced the food experience. For example, the ravioli had a cream sauce that was light, very flavorful and complemented the food (instead of taking over the taste. The brown butter cake (as usual) was incredible - definitely had to leave room to enjoy!

We really enjoyed our dinner at Intero. The sourdough focaccia was so light and tasty, especially with the ricotta and honey. The highlight for me was the ricotta gnocchi. So flavorful but also so light at the same time. The brown butter cake with cinnamon ice cream was the perfect ending. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant easily made it onto our “would absolutely return” list. The food was incredible—fresh ingredients, clean flavors, and everything cooked perfectly.

Our server Beth was amazing and made us feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Always an incredible time at Intero with intentional service, a knowledgeable and friendly team, and an easygoing but polished atmosphere to try truly wonderful eats in.

This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in Austin. The concept is extremely simple: farm to table Italian and it really delivers on that. The menu rotates with the seasons and the chefs get very inventive with what's available (persimmon ragu? I mean wow!) I've brought my family and my partner here and every time all of us loved what we ordered. Also they're so accommodating! My partner is vegetarian and they happily marked up a menu with alternative options too

Intero has been on my list for a while, and it has been talked up to me several times by several people, so I was stoked to go there for my girlfriend’s birthday. We were a party of 4.

Not gonna bury the lead, the food was all great, but the service was sorely lacking and was disappointing for a place of this caliber.

The server takes our drink order, and then when the drinks come (they were delivered by a different person than our server)… they are missing one. We figured she just couldn’t carry them all at once and would be back with the missing cocktail. Nope. 5-10 minutes later, our server comes by, we notify her that we are missing a cocktail, she says there was a miscommunication with the bar, she goes away, and the other cocktail finally shows up about 3-5 minutes later.

We put in our order for starters and mains… and we wait. And wait. We had been seated for about an hour when our starters finally showed up. She said she knew it took a long time, and that a big order was sent to the kitchen right before our order was submitted. So far, she is doing a great job… blaming somebody else.

We are enjoying our starters… and then our entrees show up before we are even done with our starters. So the starters take forever to appear… but our mains show up in record time when we are still working on our starters. Cool.

I order another cocktail, we start eating our entrees, and then 15+ minutes later… no cocktail. It was whiskey on the rocks so it’s not a complicated or time consuming drink to make. Our server finally comes by to check on us, I let her know my drink hasn’t shown up yet, she blames the bar messing up (again). This time, it shows up a few minutes later. She did comp it, so that was nice, but at this point that is the least she should/could do.

Near the end of our meal, she comes by to ask how things were, and my GF’s father tells the server, calmly and not raising his voice or causing a scene or anything, that he was disappointed in the service we received, the timing of the food coming out (starters way too late, and mains way too early), the forgotten drink orders, etc. she apologizes… and then she nopes out and we don’t see her again the rest of the night.

I am not sure who took over for her, but while he was efficient and precise… his attitude was mildly brusque and unkind. I can only assume she must have told him we were mean to her or difficult or something, so he went in prepared for the worst. To be clear, our original server was not treated with disrespect, nor did anyone at any point ever raise their voice or be nasty to her or cause a scene.

But our experience with him, after our experience(s) with her… it just kind of piled on top of everything else and put a crimp on what was otherwise a lovely (if ill-timed) meal.

I get it. Things happen sometimes. But she did a poor job of communicating things and staying on top of things, so multiple things got lost in the shuffle and were mishandled.

Should she have comped the entire meal? No. That is not a reasonable expectation. But in the spectrum of alllll of the possible ways she could have handled/managed/mitigated the situation throughout the evening… she did the absolute minimum, and then completely disappeared the rest of the evening without saying a peep.

Intero is one of the best restaurants in Austin at a time when the culinary scene is filling up with so many new places that are very expensive and not very good or consistent. Intero always deliver on food, service, value and ambiance. Consistency is their middle name with a changing menu that provides value and amazing quality and tastes. Every time we come in there are some regular dishes and something new. We are always elated with the food. We love this place and tell all of our friends to go see what we already know. That this place is top notch and one of the best in Austin. Go visit and see for yourself.

Everything we ate was incredible and the service was excellent. We ordered burrata bruschetta and beef carpaccio for our appetizers and bucatini, mushroom pizza, and gluten-free mafaldine with bolognese sauce as our entrees. We finished with panna cotta and chocolate truffles for dessert. Both appetizers were amazing and I love that our server made sure to have the appetizers completed for a decent period of time before having our entrees show up. The gluten-free pasta was surprisingly amazing considering it's gluten-free. We were shocked at how delicious and excellent the pizza dough was. The pizza overall was delicious, especially because it's from a wood-fired oven. The bucatini was also amazing. The panna cotta was refreshing and light, and I love the mix of textures. The truffles were clearly high quality chocolate. We put the rest of the bucatini in a to-go box and I love that the server (Amanda) held onto the box until we were done with dessert and she handed us the box with the check. It's a thoughtful gesture I've never experienced anywhere else. The service by Amanda was stellar. We will definitely return!

Service was top notch and even had a little “ happy anniversary” note on the table.
This was a well oiled machine, and everyone on staff looked out for one another tables. As soon as we finished a course, someone else removed the plate within seconds and asked if we needed anything else.
The food was phenomenal and you can tell that a lot of care went into each dish. 20 out of 10 we will be back.

I went to Intero last week on a date night, and wow was ai blown away. From the second we walked in, we felt taken care of.

We started out with the house made ricotta with the wildflower honey. The first bite felt like my taste buds were riding through these fluffy, creamy ricotta clouds. Just delicious!

The second appetizer was the kampachi crudo. The fish just melted in your mouth, tasted very fresh, and I loved the fresh dill and sauce that was on it.

Beth was our server, and the energy she brought was amazing. Maybe some of the best service I’ve had while dining in Austin. Shoutout to Beth!!

We ordered two pasta dishes and were blown away by both of them. The gnocchi with the pork ragu was the perfect dish for a chilly night. I also really enjoyed the toasted sunflower seeds, they provided a great texture to the dish. The dish was cozy and inviting, and kinda made it feel like you were sitting next to a fireplace.

I have heard so many great things about this place, and it lived up to the expectations! I can’t wait to come back and try some pizzas.

Thanks for an amazing meal.

Intero is the PERFECT date night spot. I went with a friend, but the lighting, vibes, and mood is very enjoyable. Great for dates or hangouts. Everything is made from scratch in house, which is super impressive. All their menu items are unique and thoughtfully well crafted

- Dish 1: Rabbit Rigatoni This pasta dish was amazing. Primary flavor is deep and smoky with the smoked rabbit. Rabbit is interesting and has a bit more of a bite than chicken. There's a hint of sweetness from the wine reduction and the horseradish cream really balances the dish by cutting through the richness. I LOVED the rigatoni itself as it was perfectly al dente.

- Dish 2: Smoked Duck Confit Pizza The pizza is unique with lots of contrasting balancing flavors. The lime really shines, so the flavor is rich, salty, zesty, and a tad bit sweet from the green sauce on top. The duck adds a bit of smokiness. Again, the texture is amazing and I could really feel the in house quality. The pizza had a good chew, not floppy nor underbaked, the perfect slight crisp on the crust.

The service here is great too! Our server gave us complimentary dessert which was super nice. The apple pie truffle and pumpkin chocolate bark were delicious.

Everything was incredible! We got the sourdough focaccia, ricotta gnocchi, ravioli, and brown butter cake with cinnamon gelato, plus we took home some chocolates. The truffle flavors are delicious and we loved the vanilla chocolate bark! Also very reasonably priced compared to similar restaurants in Austin.

Great restaurant -I’ve never been to Italy, but I feel like this is as close as it gets in Austin. They have a nice outdoor space out front by the entrance. We went there on a Thursday night, and were able to get seats at the bar. The bar tenders there were so awesome. Needless to say the food did not disappoint. The fresh pasta was so tender. Honestly, this is the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. Each one was like hitting into a soft clue. My only regret is not haven’t gotten the pizza.
