The vibes? Immaculate. The food? Incredible. The staff? Irreplaceable!! And now that there are some non vegan options this place really is for everyone! I wish I could live in this establishment, its so beautiful and I LOVE it so much. Def check it out, theres a super sexy bar upstairs if you just want drinks, and a jazz club in the back that has quickly become my favorite place.

This place could be great and Austin needs classier places like this.
The good: Jupiter is in the old Higher Ground building which is a great space. They did an amazing job renovating it and the rooms are stunning. The staff seemed friendly and we were seated on time and we really liked the smaller more intimate room for the entertainment.
The not-so-good: in our opinion the food and menu is really lacking. The crispy potatoes lacked any flavor. The wagyu sausage flatbread was ok, but not good enough to order again. The espresso martini was just bad. Sometimes bars just try to get to innovative, and this didn't work. Don't mess up a good thing. I doubt most people want banana and saffron in their espresso martini. Lastly, the entertainment. We were just not impressed. The band (forgot her name) but they are the Saturday house band were just hard to listen to. Take note from places like Parkers for better entertainment. These are only our opinion, but we go several times per month here in Austin and try all the new places and this was a miss for us.

The food was good, but the Grey Goose martini was $35 and that's an instant dq in my book.

Incredible service especially from Matthew who was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful!

Staff were obviously struggling to cope with a busy evening. We had courses from the degustation dinner being delivered before the previous course was finished, and then a 25 minute wait to the next course. Courses being cleared from the table while we were still eating, glasses being taken from the table before we'd finished drinking them. Silly mistakes like the wine server putting a bottle of heavy red wine into a bucket of ice so that when we ordered another glass, it came out heavily chilled. I would love to have said we just were unlucky on the night but it was happening at most of the tables around us as well.

One of the most beautifully artistic meals we have had in a long time. Edible artwork that you can enjoy..

The chicken dumplings were way too think with skin - made it very hard to cut and chew. Hid the taste of the flavors inside.

We had a terrible time dining at Jupiter Supper Club and do not recommend it. We reserved a table and paid for their "Valentine's Day Tasting Menu" in advance, which promised a special dining experience in their Atrium room. However, when we arrived, we were suddenly told that the Atrium room was closed and would not open for another hour. At no point was this disclosed or mentioned in the Tasting Menu experience we paid for, and felt like an absolute swindle in a vulnerable moment where we had very few options. Instead, we were awkwardly shuffled into the Clock Bar, where our waiter was worse than useless, and could not answer any of our questions about the dishes beyond listing the ingredients, which we could read from the menu ourselves. The staff acted like a group of amateurs, gathering around the reception desk near our table and chattering loudly, like a gaggle of grating schoolgirls. At this point, it was hard to enjoy what was left of our "dinner experience", with the downscaled ambiance of the bar and the unprepared and obnoxious staff. The food itself was nothing special, with some dishes relying on "I can't believe it's not meat" gimmicks to justify their spot in the menu. Of the five dishes in the tasting menu, only one managed to leave an impression. All three of the desserts we tried were offensive and did their absolute best to leave an unpleasant and sour taste in your mouth, culminating in the worst pavlova we've ever had. Overall, our disappointment was immeasurable and our day was ruined. Perhaps "Jupiter" was a warning sign for this place, because the attention to detail, respect, and care for their customer is nowhere to be found on this planet. "Jupiter is where Cupid goes to die", is a line a heartbroken Austin poet may pen today. We had to book another restaurant the next day to recover from this dismal experience. Please stay away from this place, and do not trust them with your Valentine. You will regret it.

We were looking forward to dinner followed by cocktails with live jazz music but apparently that is not always available on Saturdays. Deceptive advertising. Beautiful venue but we left feeling cheated.

We were excited to try Jupiter Supper Club in Austin on Congress. It's an upscale vegan restaurant and, being vegan myself, I was looking forward to it. The food was average. Drinks were surprisingly light and mild despite rave Google reviews. The bread was super salty, and the cavatelli was really bad—undercooked pasta with no mushroom bolognese, just tomato sauce. The waitress comped it, but at a high-end spot with only ~10 items, you'd expect perfection. Portion sizes were tiny. Ambience is nice and upscale. Some items like the beetroot chicharrón had interesting texture, and the truffle hummus was nice, but nothing justified the high prices or stingy portions. We ordered nearly everything vegan on the menu (sometimes double) and still left hungry. Jupiter has potential thanks to the vibe, but I'd say eat at home first, then go snap pics, sip a light drink, and pay a bomb. One-time thing, wouldn’t really recommend.

The experience was amazing my first time there. Interior was artistic and the wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Food was great no complaints.

Loses something by only being open downstairs (one line of tables along the bar) on Tue/Wed, which was not advertised on the reservation. And service was slow and clunky. Surprised trading is this high. Must be better upstairs later in the week and on weekends.

We had drinks and then went to the Nova Lounge for Jess. She was absolutely fantastic!! This was a Christmas gift to my mom and she was so blown away. The whole family was! Although we've been to Nova lounge before for Paul and a few others, it was the first time seeing Jess and we can't wait to see her again!

Ambiance, service, and food were great. The vegan pasta and truffle hummus were hits! Would definitely come back for the food to try more! Being able to go upstairs to enjoy drinks was extremely nice. I love that we could find New York level ambiance in Austin. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our cocktails and dessert. We were celebrating a birthday and the dessert was pretty disappointing in terms of being bc way too rich. Presentation was phenomenal but probably wouldn't order any house cocktails or dessert again. Spent about $70 with tip on two drinks and dessert. We were expecting the baklava mocktail to be sweet but it was actually extremely sour and the sage espresso martini tasted like tequila with a hint of banana and cold brew. Disappointed with the end of our night but dinner was enough for us to come back.

We knew the space was beautiful, but we were blown away by the food! Every dish was the best flavor! We're still thinking about the roasted carrots & the verde sauce on the chicken! We're excited to return fur drinks in the lounge & live music!
