Staff were obviously struggling to cope with a busy evening. We had courses from the degustation dinner being delivered before the previous course was finished, and then a 25 minute wait to the next course. Courses being cleared from the table while we were still eating, glasses being taken from the table before we'd finished drinking them. We were looking forward to dinner followed by cocktails with live jazz music but apparently that is not always available on Saturdays. Deceptive advertising. Beautiful venue but we left feeling cheated.
Loses something by only being open downstairs (one line of tables along the bar) on Tue/Wed, which was not advertised on the reservation. And service was slow and clunky. Surprised trading is this high. Must be better upstairs later in the week and on weekends.
