Definitely not a Patriots bar. Went there for the divisional round and spent 30 minutes begging the staff to change the channel from women’s college basketball to the Patriots divisional round game. If you’re looking for a Patriots bar with a football vibe, go to a different Irish pub.

I had come here on a Friday night with a couple of my friends to enjoy food and drinks. The service was very very slow. We had to get up several times to ask for a beer to which then we were told that they would come to us which took another 5 minutes. The food took over 45 minutes to come out for wings and a few orders of fish and chips. Food was tasty. When asking for the bill, it took 15 or so minutes to get it after asking twice. A few days go by for me to realize that they had altered the tip to give themselves 50%! First and last time for me and will let others know of this experience. Will not be coming back again.

Kelly’s Pub is the real deal if you want an authentic Irish pub experience. The Guinness was incredibly fresh ,easily the best I’ve had in a long time, and way better than most places, I know weird lol but is just different.
The fish and chips were outstanding: crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Great atmosphere, great service, and an overall awesome experience. I visited with my sister and we had a great time. I’m not from Austin, but I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in town.

Not sure why I waited so long to come. It's cozy and friendly and the food is delish. Just go.

Customer service was terrible. Fish n chips had odd seasoning in it. If they had ever tasted proper batter they would know it was off. Irish stew even worse! Could not eat it. The broth was so strong and awful. Have been before for breakfast and it was good but wont go back for dinner ever. And by the way no staff asked if we enjoyed the food when our plates were full and we said we were finished. Some tables had service for drinks clearly ours did not. No Irish or austin hospitality tonight.

Mice in the kitchen...Just had lunch; got the booth across from the kitchen and as the door was swinging open there was a little mouse running around: the kitchen staff stomped on it and left it on the ground for a good while before disposing. I would advise not ordering from the kitchen - revolting.

Best bar in Austin.

The owner Jimmy is an absolute gentleman, the food is delicious and authentic. The atmosphere is second to none.

For Texas, the Guinness is very good. The staff are friendly Irish lads who are very friendly. Would recommend the Spice Bag. Solid food, chicken a touch overcooked but tasted great, definitely could have done with some chilis to add to the spice but all round hearty good food.

Wow, what a place. I can’t remember the last time I walked into a bar and felt like I was part of a larger community. People actually talk to one another here. There’s something special about Kelly’s.

We are regular visitors to SPI and struggle to find a good place to eat / drink and watch a game…. No longer. Food was truely five star. Bartender Dave made drinks on point. Very attentive and a great bartender. Lots of TV’s. Only reason this is not a five star review was the inability to turn off / turn down the juke box and play the game(s) sound. We will be back. Great off the beaten trail place.

This was maybe the best Irish Pub I had been to outside of Ireland. Service was above awesome and food was very Irish authentic. Spice bag was yummy and Fish and Chips was great as well. Will be back!

Incredible vibe here, if you’re looking for an easy going location to have a drink and bite to eat then definitely stop by.

Outdoor patio is nice, however is also an open smoking zone so be aware.

A true Irish pub in every sense. Great vibe with the traditional booths, dark wood, slightly crowded bar and complete with an outdoor seating area. Fantastic food, we had the Shepherd's Pie and the fish & chips, both amazing. And the staff, Brian & Vada (sp?), were attentive, yet chill in the best way. Perfect, would highly recommend!
