Unfortunately, we have been unable to reach Magnolia Cafe on Congress the last 2 times for a family breakfast. So, we resort to the Kerby Lane Cafe on William Cannon and Mopac so we can park. I cannot attest to Magnolia but surely there has to be a better breakfast diner besides a taco cart (we have excellent taco place eat there instead). For a sit down breakfast the wait staff is the highlight. The food was served before one of the diners (me) had their meal - unforgivable. Maybe that would have been ok if it was good. Mine was not- the chicken panini contained little chicken and was greasy. My coffee was nerve refilled or asked. The week before when we visited half my omelet ended up in half of my omelet. Plus the fruit tasted unthawed from frozen. Our chips were broken into the size of Lego blocks for our queso. Why wait so long and pay for poor food.

We really loved this location. Our server was wonderful, very friendly, in a great mood, with fast service, and that honestly made the whole experience for us. We had breakfast there, and it was delicious. Everything was done perfectly: the eggs, the potatoes, everything. It really made me think that it all comes down to the specific location and the staff. They’re the ones who create the overall impression of a café and its atmosphere. This was a truly great breakfast.

Always tasty. Kerbey queso is well worth the lactaid. I change up my entree often when I go, this time I got the Thai shrimp salad which is a very tasty cold noodle dish.

Made reservations...stated under 15 minutes. 45 minutes later still not seated. Inquired with the very rude hostess who said basically they skipped us and proceeded to seat other tables. We left and won't be back.

Achi provides the best service and was sweet, attentive, and always smiling. Love coming here for the Benedict options and will ask to be in her section any time I am back!

For all my gluten free friends. I have never had a pancake I couldn’t eat but I took one bite and physically couldn’t eat it anymore. This was my first time here and I didn’t ask for a refund and they didn’t offer or ask how my meal was. They charged extra for GF too.

We had a wonderful experience at Kirby Lane! This was our first time visiting, and we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner. Achi provided outstanding customer service—she made our entire family laugh and feel so welcome. She took the time to walk us through the menu, which we really appreciated as first-time guests. To make it even more special, she drew pictures of us on our to-go box and on the receipt, which was such a thoughtful and fun touch. The food was great/latte and Bloody Mary. the service made the experience unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

The food was cold. And the waiter was very slow. We kept having ro ask for refills, food came out cold had to be sent back several times. Plenty of workers all behind the counter and no one helped the waiter. The Manager was even standing around.

Great food and service.
Deffinately over priced. Could use an adjustment now that Covid is well over and gas costs down. A thought to consider when keeping it real yall. $81 breakfast for 3 is asking to much. Re-adjust for the economy we are actually in please so we can return!
