The food is mid, but doable. However, it smells like stale food in the sitting area all the time, which is disgusting.Furthermore, they are closed from 2pm-4:30pm on the weekends, which is really bad timing as a lot of people might be hungry then. They wouldn't let me in at 2pm, not even to let me grab some food and go even though there were people still inside! Terrible service.

My favorite dining hall on campus. The staff is friendly, and the food is pretty good, especially for a dining hall. I enjoy the outdoor patio seating. If you don't have the unlimited resident meal plan, I'd recommend checking the menu online before you go.

The best dining hall you'll get at UT. That doesn't mean an amazing dining hall, but... a good one.
If you had to mathematically represent the quality of food here, it either tends to follow y = (1/x^9/2) or y = sin(x)Still, it's all we got and the workers there really care and the food is edible

Got the best food sickness of my life here Other than that, it's okay food. There are limited vegan options and it's hard to avoid nightshades and alliums for those allergic. There is considerable cross-contamination between the foods, but this is mainly due to the hall's buffet-style serving. Definitely avoid the meats, as it has become a common joke that the UT dining halls have a tendency to undercook its food.During the freeze this year, many of the staff with no proper food handling licenses were placed on duty, leading to undercooked minced/grinded meat - primarily burgers and chicken breasts. The positives of Kins is that it is accessible and tends to have basic foods which allow everyone to eat something. The fruit line, dessert bar, and the salad bar are generally safe bets, as most of the food there is packaged.Wheelchair accessibility: wheelchair accessibleDietary restrictions: not good for individuals with garlic and onion allergies. Nightshade allergies are also quite difficult to avoid.

Pleasantly surprised for dinning hall food. There were a lot of options to choose from. All of which were not bad. The dinning hall was pretty clean too. My favorite was the grilled cheese with tomato soup.

Some of the workers are mad rude and I’m not talking about the student workers but the other older ones. I was serving myself and this black older man took the spoon out of my hand and used it to refill the pasta I was serving myself from. This wouldn’t have been a problem if he had waited for me to be done because I was clearly still serving myself and he just snatched it from me and it was embarrassing considering other students were behind me.
