We went to this location because we always used to go to Sandy's which was the previous restaurant. But we were pleasantly surprised that it was a very excellent taqueria with excellent food. The owner is a real sweetheart

I had a great experience with Emancipet in Austin. The staff was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout the visit. The service was excellent, and I really appreciate the affordable care they provide for pets in the community.

The only area I would suggest improving is the overall cleanliness of the facility. With so many pets coming in and out, I understand it can be challenging, but a little more attention to cleaning and odor control would make the experience even better.

Overall, I’m very grateful for the service and care Emancipet provides, and I would still highly recommend them.

We decided to try La Gordibuena last week and were very impressed. The interior was cozy and a little noisy but the food was excellent. I had the beef Quesabirria tacos and my companion had the enchiladas. Both dishes had the fantastic flavor that comes from a family owned restaurant that focuses on quality. My margarita was excellent! The prices were reasonable and the portions were ample. They even had real sugar cane cokes in a bottle! Service was prompt and courteous. I plan on returning.

Went because the pictures on Google looked good, and boy it did not disappoint. Waitresses were really nice and quick. Food was delicious, I'll be back again.

We’ve been getting takeout breakfast tacos from here at least once a week for the past 6 months and they are delicious. And the portions are so generous - they’re stuffed with 2-3x more filling than your average taco (which is extra crazy given how affordable they are). Both green and red sauces are on point. They’re also super friendly - you can order ahead online and either pick up inside or through the drive through window, and I’ve never waited for more than a minute, if that. My order has never been wrong, and they are consistent with quality and taste. Highly recommend- best breakfast tacos we’ve found in the Lakeway/Hudson Bend area by far!

This was a great find from a random recommendation. A cozy restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, friendly and welcoming staff, and great food. I especially loved their molé, which was comparable to some of the best that I have had in Mexico. I look forward to continuing to visit when I find myself in the Austin area.

Brought friends here and there was no soap in the entire restaurant. They checked both restrooms and asked for soap from the kitchen. There wasn't any. They refused to eat the food and won't give it another chance. I understand completely.

You really have to close down the restaurant when that happens. If customers can't wash our hands, how can the staff? No one wants to think about dirty hands preparing their food.

I previously loved their food, but I like health and safety much more. #rip

I recently visited La Gordibuena Taqueria and was extremely disappointed with the service and the food quality. When I got home, I realized a significant portion of my order was missing on top of me requesting no onions the plate was filled with them. Upon returning to the restaurant, the staff’s behavior was unprofessional; the young lady working the bar area was watching out the window for me to pull up and actually ran into the kitchen laughing and hiding. When I spoke to the manager on phone he, they were rude and dismissive. Despite the fact that the meal was supposed to serve two people, it was mostly green bell peppers with only a few pieces of meat. The kids meal Chicken strips were nuggets and cold with only like fives fries, The manager refused a refund or to rectify the situation. Overall, a very disappointing experience and I do not recommend this location to anyone.

My boyfriend and I visited for breakfast. I asked for hibiscus agua fresca and he asked for lemonade. We were told there wasn't any available. Moments after we placed our order, we noticed the wait staff come out with 3 hibiscus drinks to one table beside us and a lemonade. If the drink was not prepared yet, it could have been relayed to us and we could have waited for it instead of being told there wasn't any.
