Very odd place, the food is mediocre at best, the lattes are like McDonalds coffee, croissants are hard and cold, eggs weren’t cooked all the way, bacon was like air… and the waitress lady was so rude when I asked where the forks were , then I had to carry my food, my belongings and my coffee inside with me just to get a fork. I wanted to love this place since it is so close to my work but I will not be returning.

They didn’t let me post my lost dog sign. I ended up never finding my dog. One more sign could have made the difference. Get some humanity and help your community next time.
To top it off service is mediocre and food is overpriced for what it is.

It used to be a decent place to eat fresh salads and other dish but my last experience was not what I remembered rom before the pandemia.

Vegetarian options: I requested salmon in my salad and it was over cooked and muchy but cold. Not flavor at all. One needs to request bread if want becuase salad are not serve with bread and the bread was cold too. I did no leave tips becuase no one case to check on me.

Parking: Plenty parking

Kid-friendliness: Staff serve the food but didn't check on customers afterwards

It's okay if you guys want to have high prices, but at least serve decent portions, not a kid portions, I came hungry and left hungry. A simple and basic breakfast, nothing impressive, nothing different from the others. Almost $4 for a mini glass of a NO NATURAL juice, it's outrageous. Also, dirty restrooms! Very disappointing.

Terrible customer service - I was waiting in line to order. The people in front of me ordered coffees with their meals. After they placed their order, I stepped up to order next. The woman taking orders ignored me and started making the coffees for the people before me who had already gone down to the register. After standing there waiting for several minutes, she asked if I needed a salad. I told her I just needed to order and she advised me to continue on to order at the register because it would be quicker than waiting for her. I continued on to the register line which had several people waiting to pay. After several more minutes, more customers walked in and stopped where I was originally waiting to order. The staff went up to them right away and took their order while I was STILL not being helped. I left the line and walked out. Very pathetic service.

This restaurant has gone done hill so much post covid. I can’t speak to the change in this location, but La Madeline has lost the plot with quality. The employees seemed both frazzled and uninterested in helping customers. I think I stood around for 15 minutes before someone took my order. Then the food felt like the cafeteria food you get while waiting for an elderly relative at a sad hospital. Save yourself and grab lunch anywhere else.

My family and I have been coming to this location for over 10 years because we absolutely love the service we get, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere. Recently, our experience has been completely ruined by an employee named PENNY. To be clear, all the other employees at this location are amazing and so sweet and will always go out of their way to help. From the second I came up to the register to order, she was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason, cutting me off when I was speaking and having an attitude when I asked to make a simple modification to an order. She seems to talk to every single customer that way. I observed her being equally (or even more) rude to her co-workers. I observed her snap at them and tell them orders in a very demeaning and condescending way, even rolling her eyes at them. She has ruined our experience here and we will be going to another location from now on because of Penny. The warm friendly atmosphere that used to be present the second you walked into this La Madeleine is completely gone because of her.

Perhaps lunch is much better. Breakfast was a big disappointment, especially for $20. The potato Galette was dry on top and hard to cut, the eggs were tasteless, overcooked, and the grated cheese was just sprinkled on top. The croissant was cold. The best part was sitting next to the fireplace since the inside temp felt to be near 70°. For a town that is so liberal, I have never been so cold in the interiors of buildings.
I get a much better meal for nearly half the cost at Waffle House.

Room temp food lends to overall poor quality and lack of flavor. We ordered the Quiche Florentine, Chicken Friand, Potato Galette and a chocolate croissant. The croissant tasted like grocery store quality. Staff was disengaged. Bathrooms are dirty. Floors throughout are sticky.

Seeing the owner’s reply, I am updating my review with: I was visiting for one week and I am from out of state.
