Get the beef tip tacos!
Good breakfast tacos. The construction workers eat here so good honest food. Homey feeling seating area.
Tacos are premade, and I give them a 6.2/10. Flavor of the meat was average, although they were a bit dry. Size of tacos was perfect.
The only thing keeping this from a dead-average 5/10 rating was the salsa. Green salsa was really great. It was spicy with good flavor. The red was also good.
I feel the salsa should add to an already flavorful taco. This was not that.
They cheat on the auctions. I've seen it not once, but twice. Sad too because I have been in Austin forever and used to think this place was cool. There are other art venues that are stand up but not here...
The owners are very rude and treat the employees like garbage want to support an unethical company?? Come here and do that
This is a very nice gallery and the people here are super nice but I don't know what all the hype is about for the tacos. The only good thing about them is they are cheap. I had chorizo y papá and chorizo y huevo and i thought they were dry
Don’t sleep on these tacos. Get there early for more options because they sell out.
This is a great place to go see local artists’ artwork!!! I learned so much from Lydia (the owner) and really enjoyed seeing the artwork. Please go see this hidden gem that represents the real and independent spirit of Austin!!!

Delicious tacos with a delightful conversation. Not only did we devour the tacos, which were incredibly reasonable, but we leaned about several other must see locations in Austin. What a fabulous hidden find! The artwork was cool to see as well and it came with a little history lesson. Don’t miss this one.
Most wonderful time at opening reception of International Women’s Day—Qué Viva La Mujer exhibit at La Peña! It’s a beautiful show featuring works by some outstanding female artists! Thank you Cynthia & Libby for this curatorial opportunity & for this amazing celebration of women through the arts! Qué Viva la Mujer!
Everything! Their gallery is really nice, the tacos are great, Sra. Blanca who is at the counter is wonderful, Cynthia & Lydia are a force to be reckoned with because they have worked really hard in the interest of the community and artists. Toma Mi Corazon is my favorite event. I feel so blessed that I was able to participate again this year. Tlacohcamati Cynthia and Lydia and everyone there who makes events and programs possible.
Cynthia is rude and a crimanal and runs a great deal of money through her so called non-profit organization using Raul Gonzalez to do her dirty work.
