Excellent staff, Super friendly, they did everything possible after having the whole place full to serve us. We had never received such good treatment. It is worth mentioning that this restaurant is on the 1/5th floor. They had the courtesy to accommodate us when it was time to accommodate us, to take us to another bar in the hotel and there we enjoyed some delicious drinks. I don't think it was even 20 minutes when they were already telling us that we could go to the restaurant...
La Piscena is arguably one of my top 5 Austin restaurants, though closer to top 2 now that a true gem of a waiter like Jorge works there. A girl's dinner at La Piscena already equals a great night, and Jorge made it far more fun and enjoyable than we could have hoped for.

This was my first visit to a Mexican cuisine restaurant, and it was the perfect place to get a first taste of Mexican food and fall in love with it. The atmosphere really set the tone, with an interior that didn’t go for the typical Mexican flair but instead offered a more European-style elegance—fresh and modern.
