breakfast tacos all day !! & only $8 for 6! can't find those prices anywhere else in austin. the staff is always so sweet & didn't forget my boyfriend & i even after we hadn't gone for a couple of years just due to moving further away
I haven't lived in Austin since 2016 but I feel like I have to jump in here and push back on some of the negative reviews of this place. I ate here 2-3 times a week for years between 2009 and 2016 and it was great. The prices are super low. The salsa bar is (or at least used to be) the biggest in Austin. It is so great. Please give it a try.

As an uber driver, I've recommended this restaurant as one of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants near downtown.
My favorite dish is the chili rellano 🔥.
I love their warm salsa.
The only thing I would recommend is more fresh chips, they've tasted stale a few times. Aside from that, the service and the food is always 5 stars
