Went to Airport Blvd location. I had a flight and enjoyed all of the beers that I tried so I took 3 crowlers to go to share with friends back in San Antonio. When I got home, all 3 had leaked and when I took them off of the plastic holder 1 exploded with the top coming off. Not only did I lose $30 of beer, but car kitchen & shirt were all stained and/or sticky/smelly. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Good beer, but don’t buy the crowlers to go!
Lazuras is a great brewery to hang and enjoy their brews, of course, and absorb the atmosphere. Lots of space with different areas, from a book store feel, to bar, patio and picnic. Very good variety of beer and friendly staff. "The End of Sixth Street".
This place has a great environment, tasty tacos, good beer, and friendly staff. I was thoroughly enjoying myself here. You will probably have a great time if you go.
However, at last call, I got a final drink, closed out, and went back to my seat. Then a few minutes later at closing time, I looked around trying to be conscientious and not cause the staff to be late going home. I see a handful of others at the bar, so I'm not worried, but then I make eye contact with the bartender who aggressively says "yeah, we're closed". I leave a half drunk beer on the counter and leave.
If not for that very aggressive comment that clearly meant "gtfo now", I'd have been back. Now I'll probably never visit this place again. I hope you choose not to support this business but also would probably recommend it for a good time.
Came here a couple of times for the Music For Listeners stage during SXSW. Great food, great Lager, great environment!
Good beer and good vibes
Stopped by for the first time today when visiting ATX! Everything was so good, my kids loved the tacos, I had Ceviche Tostadas, and my husband had the rice bowl. SO freaking good! Our beers were awesome too. Calm atmosphere and friendly staff!
The rice lager was insanely refreshing!
Good beer and nachos were just ok. We enjoyed sitting out on their nice patio. I'd like to try the coffee next time!
You'll love this brewery. Not only do they brew their own beer, they roast their own coffee too.
While I was in town for the No Longer Virtual Summit, our group decided to meet up here for dinner and a few pints.
So glad we chose this spot. The food was amazing. Sorry to say I dove right into my street tacos and didn't get a pic. Other people in our group ventured into more of the menu and loved every bit of it.
Every beer I had was delicious. And of course the staff was super friendly and helpful.
You definitely want to make this a regular stop if you live in the area. And if you're visiting like I was, make sure to get in here.
Placed a to-go order today. Order was ready quickly, parking was a breeze (Monday lunch time) and service was friendly. The tacos are the bomb and they are BIG! The salsa verde is yum! Inside is cute - great vibes & value!

Just phenomenal. Came in from the cold for breakfast and a coffee. From the food to the atmosphere to the coffee- everything was just perfect.
We got the chilaquiles and breakfast torta and every ingredient served its purpose without overpowering- pickled red onions, refried beans, carnitas, etc all the perfect balance and just freaking good. Merch looked cute and functional, I’d definitely return for beers or even host an event there.
Delish beer food and scene
Amazing. Simply excellent quality brew here. You cannot go wrong.
Wonderful spot for hanging out with friends or a S/O. Went with my boyfriend for the street tacos (ORDER THE CARNE ASADA) and to have a latte before getting mimosas. Mimosa carafe for 2 is 28 and what a STEAL since a regular mimosa is $7. Service was super sweet and friendly, they have a self service salsa bar full of flavorful finds from their smoky salsa roja to their bright salsa verde. Honestly what a gem to the city it’s always a great time @ Lazarus.
Great coffee from the Slayer and a whole bundle of fantastic beers for all tastes. 2025 update: Lazarus remains our first choice for beer and now they've added nachos, we stay for the food.
