The place is really nice and has a fancy atmosphere. The food was good overall — the chicken liver was excellent, and the Wagyu with nyoki was great. I wasn’t a fan of the fries or the chicken wings.

One downside was the long wait for the main courses. While the starters arrived fairly quickly, within 5–10 minutes of ordering, we had to wait much longer for the mains. We ordered two rounds of main dishes, and for the first round, we waited about 30 minutes...
Truly the best food I’ve had in ATX! Every dish we tried was phenomenal and we were blown away with the flavors and variety presented- extra kudos that there was a large Texas tie in.
Loved everything about Le Calamar. The vibe is great, food was fantastic, and service was great too. We ordered the beef tartare, red snapper crudo, stuffed chicken wings, wagyu bavette, gnocchi, and baked Texas. Truly enjoyed all dishes.
