Leroy and Lewis Barbecue Reviews
I’ve never been MORE DISAPPOINTED by an establishment EVER!!!! Take their Michelin Star off them for their terrible service.
We stood in a line for an hour and a half, in a barely air conditioned room (which was not fun) but we were going to endure nonetheless, even with a disability.
After 40 mins someone came out to tell us they’d run out of a few items on the menu and someone else took the magnetic names of the items off the board, but the man said there...read full review
Good people and good food!
We are normal customers and love getting our Saturday ribs . Today we went For their steak night and it was beyond amazing. My husband and I shared a beautiful 2.4 lbs ribeye cooked to absolute perfection! We paired it with the best onion rings and miso glazed carrots . One of the owners also got us a burger , when I say it was the best one I have ever had it is not an exaggeration. It was the most juicy & tender burger ever .
To end our night we got the cheddar cheesecake...read full review

Leroy And Lewis Barbecue offers exceptional service, with friendly staff making every interaction a pleasure. The food is truly fantastic, with every aspect outstanding. The menu features innovative and delicious options, such as the flat iron sliced beef, which is tender and impressive. The cauliflower burnt ends and miso carrots are also notable highlights. The chorizo sausage is some of the best served. Customers have praised the outstanding stake Frits, which is smoked outside to a perfect medium rare inside, and the whole hog. Sides are consistently delicious and often better than those at many other BBQ places, with desserts also receiving high praise. The wait time can be around 30 minutes, but the line is mostly inside with AC, and staff walk the line offering drink orders and updates on meat availability. The restaurant frequently runs out of popular items early in the day, such as beef ribs and beef cheeks, but the overall experience remains impressive. The atmosphere is lively, and staff, including those who give tours and chat about BBQ culture, contribute to a super awesome place that customers look forward to returning to with their families.
Recent reviews highlight how the restaurant goes above and beyond for customers. One guest, after a tough week, visited late and found the line already packed up. The staff suggested sitting at the bar and ordering from their “Anytime” menu. Despite being out of some items like tri-tip for the Texas Cheesesteak and onion rings, the staff surprised the guest with a 50% discount on the chopped brisket sandwich and gave extras like cornbread and chorizo-potato hash, which were described as amazing. The cornbread made with blue cornmeal, served with strawberry-poblano butter and compressed strawberries, was called otherworldly. The chorizo-potato hash was flavorful and spicy, paired with creamy salsa. Although not the original plan, the chopped brisket sandwich with pickled vegetables was a great consolation, making the experience unforgettable.
Another visit during Formula 1 weekend showcased the restaurant's high-quality BBQ. Guests enjoyed a variety of dishes including brisket, beef ribs, beef cheeks, flat iron, chicken, kimchi, and their homemade mesquite cookie. The brisket was praised as some of the best ever, even by someone from Texas. The flat iron was memorable, likened to all pieces being burnt ends. The experience was enhanced by a well-poured beer and friendly conversation with other guests. An incident involving a Texas-sized fly on the beer was handled professionally, with the bartender providing a new glass and topping it off. Staff also helped carry leftovers, showing excellent service. The restaurant’s attention to detail and quality earned it a well-deserved Michelin star.
Overall, Leroy And Lewis Barbecue demonstrates slick operations, from decor to service and food. The brisket point was especially praised for its perfect balance of melt-in-the-mouth meat and crispy bark. The combination of friendly staff, innovative dishes, and high standards makes it a standout BBQ spot that customers are eager to visit again.
