Good solid bbq with a nice atmosphere. The chorizo sausage is really good! They have brisket only on Saturday.

We ran over to Leroy and Lewis at 11am after Franklins sold out before even opening. The line was out the door, but just barely. Within 15 minutes, it was wrapping around the corner! Someone frequently came down the line with menus, water, and to take drink orders. By 12:30, we had our food and easily snatched a table outside. They only have brisket on Saturdays so we got the sliced beef (+ extra) and beef barbacoa (Sunday special) with the Kale Caesar Slaw and pork hash and rice. The pork was not what I was expecting and not my style, but my husband enjoyed it. The slaw was very good! We loved the sliced beef - it's one cut below brisket so it doesn't fall apart, but is still super tender. The barbacoa was good, but we wouldn't order it again. We also got the L&L burger and it was fabulous with an amazing pepper crust.Probably my favorite part about this place (aside from the wonderful service) is that they source their meats locally ❤️

I loved their trailer and I'm so proud of them. Everything we got was amazing. I highly recommend The barbecue and the sausage, but the desserts are also great.

Delicious beef cheeks, great drinks, friendly staff. The only complaint is that my stomach wasn't big enough to finish the entire 2 meat plate. Will come again!

Sorry to say, we weren't very impressed with the side dishes. The chopped beef sandwich was very good, but a little small for the price. The chori-papas (chorizo and potatoes) were pretty oily and more like a chorizo stew with small bits of potatoes. We were expecting potatoes with touches of chorizo. It looked more like chili and was too rich for more than 2 or 3 bites. The kale salad was good and so was an arugula salad we ordered. The pork/ rice side was also very rich. The service was very friendly, and there were plenty of tables available even though there was a line of people. Parking was a bit tight.

We recently saw on social media and went there today. I truly enjoy bbq but this is definitely not on my return to destination. We ordered two 2 meat plates along with 2 sides per plate. We wanted to sample various offerings. No brisket or ribs, not a good sign but we were already in line. Beef offerings of chuck steak and what they claimed was flat iron (not sure on that based on the meat on the cutting borad). Smoked chicken was good, beef chorizo was good. Sides of frito pie ( bit spicy), chori-papas, chips and hash. Pass on all the side offerings. No potato salad??? We also ordered a burger with onion rings. Probably the best thing we had but we went for bbq. Not the traditional bbq but at least we tried it. We went to Morenos for pork belly. Needed to get some bbq.

Make Leroy and Lewis another Austin destination you cannot miss while in town. I have to say, go there for the kimchi. It is outstanding. The bbq is also fantastic. I loved everything I had and cannot wait to go back. Thankfully, my brother now lives in Austin, so will have to blow into town and pester him just so I can go to Leroy and Lewis.

Food was great and the staff were exceptionally friendly/welcoming and super helpful to make sure we understood the menu and even gave us some great suggestions for what to try (eg. The charred carrot which was great).

Absolute knock out of a BBQ place in austin. I went to the the actual restaurant itself and found out there is a food truck that got them where they are now. My bartender Kiki was fantastic. Pulled pork sandwich was unlike anything I've ever had I will definitely make sure to always come back when I visit austin

First time visiting the new brick and mortar. The new sliced beef options are delicious! The smoked flat iron was better than the brisket I've had at most other joints. The sliced chuck steak was an unexpected favorite. Really good! I also got an L&L burger just to confirm that it's still awesome. I'm happy to report, it's still as good as ever!

Beef cheeks were flavorful, though a little dry. I personally didn't like the brisket that much here, it was still decent. I liked their sides. The burger was excellent. There are definitely better bbq options in Austin, but this burger was def one of my favorites.
