Possibly the best Mexican I have ever eaten at. Been here about 6 times, every visit delights. This is not “tex mex” but true regional Mexican. Great service managed an additional 10 people to our booking without hassle.

Hands down the BEST place I've eaten at in a loooong time. Fortaleza Blanco for starters. Incredible tequila. Buy it if you can find it! Ordered the Lengua tacos. A more than generous order with pickled vegetables and fresh Pico. Couldn't finish the tortillas. I ate all of the lengua!!language!!! Soft on the inside with a crispy bite on the exterior. It was literally like eating a meat taffy. So soft but chewable, flavor was beefy but seasoned to perfection. Amazing and highly recommended. Sat outside under the trees with an exterior fan. Unique. Loved it. Can't say enough about this place.

Server was knowledgeable and understanding about gluten allergy/cross contamination. Spoke to kitchen to answer my questions when needed and kept me safe. Felt fine after eating here. I’d recommend to fellow celiacs! The queso fundido and brisket tacos were delicious. They make their corn tortillas in house! Pretty noisy and lively spot.Dietary restrictions: Good for celiac/gluten free

I typically do not write reviews (especially negative ones) but…I was excited to come here based so on the reviews and menu but sadly there was nothing about this place that was good. Horrible food and the rudest service from the hostess I’ve ever encountered.I was told there would be a 30 minute wait and over an hour later when I asked for an update was told that this is what happens when you walk in and to just leave if I didn’t like waiting. Seriously, this is how you treat customers?!?

The food was served cold, it needed salt/more seasonings, and it was not worth the price. There are so many other good Mexican spots to go to and this one is not it. The service was very bland and the music was too loud to have a conversation. There was also no parking around the area. I would not come here again unfortunately. I was very disappointed considering the good reviews, but I did not have a good experience.

Lovely dining experience. High end Tex mex. The taco portions are huge !You know it’s fresh since you walk through the kitchen to get to the patio. The alambre tacos (steak and bacon) are amazingService was on point. Not sure his name (he had a duo Mohawk) but he was awesome !! On the ball with everything and during SXSW no less !!

I love everything about this place. Best authentic Mexican food in town. Too bad it's no longer a secret. Drinks are fantastic, highly recommend the scallops and ceviche for smaller plates. The lengua, pastor and veggie tacos are awesome and the chicken mole is the best North of the Mexico border.

Me and my partner chose this restaurant to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Unfortunately it turned out to be a disaster for us both. The atmosphere and the service was top notch, the food tasted good and was delivered within a few minutes of ordering but the food gave me and my partner an allergic reaction. I am not allergic to anything. Both of us felt extremely sleepy after eating and my partner developed a rash the next day. Essentially making us sleep not even making to the next year awake. What is more disappointing is that I left this feedback on their website to give a chancefor them to explain this however it’s been over 3 months and neither acknowledgement nor any reply from the team. Very disappointing.

Great authentic food, good variety of choices on the menu, and great margaritas! [*Warning: this is a really loud happening place. So, if you don't like loud music, this is probably not the place for you.*] The Chamorro De Puerco Adobado (for two) was delicious - with the meat falling off the bone. The guacamole was really good and fresh. It had queso fresco sprinkled on top. If you don't like queso fresco, just spoon it aside. The pumpkin seeds sprinkled on top of the guacamole were a really nice and unusual touch. There were little red and green sauces placed on the tables with the bag of chips. These little sauces were AWESOME. And, yes, they were quite hot. I ordered the "regular" margarita. It was really good and made with real lime - not the powdery flavor you get with store bought mixes at some restaurants. My table was in the covered area in the back of the restaurant. Music was LOUD and cheerful. To get to this area, you pass through the kitchen. It sounds odd, but it flows well. I had a great view of the hard-working cook (there was only one!) in the open kitchen. I went on a Sunday at about 5:30 p.m. By 6:30 p.m., there were no tables available around me. So, reservations are a must. Next time, I'll try to get one of the tables on the grassy lawn in front of the restaurant for great people watching or in one of the rooms inside which might be a little quieter. Atmosphere is super casual, place is clean, service is great. This was a gem of a find!
