Angie's Mexican Restaurant is known for its delicious food, especially its puffy tacos, which many customers consider the best and compare to those from San Antonio. The restaurant has been a favorite for over 30 years, reliably serving hot, flavorful meals that consistently meet expectations. Under new ownership for about four months, the restaurant offers great specials, large portion sizes, and reasonable prices, making it a popular family-friendly spot with plenty of seating and clean bathrooms. Guests enjoy the self-serve condiment and toppings bar, adding to the fun dining experience. The food is described as yummy and satisfying, with dishes like enchiladas served with rice and beans, although only refried beans are available. Service generally receives positive remarks, though some note occasional delays and minor issues like uncleaned tables. Overall, Angie's Mexican Restaurant remains a beloved place for flavorful, hearty meals, especially its puffy tacos.
