This is a review of Live Oak's A Tea X! What a fun time we had at today's holiday afternoon tea - fun festive holiday decorations at Four Season's lobby and grounds! Both savory and sweet bites in our three tiered tea service was delicious! We enjoyed a specially crafted cocktail as a starter to our afternoon tea and enjoyed unlimited tea from among the 5 or so tea flavors they offered.Service from Lyndsey was fun, friendly and attentive! It was an amazing afternoon tea experience in a festive atmosphere! Definitely a must repeat experience!

Frequent stop for me on business in Austin. Great for casual meetings. Great food and service. Then the view out back. Slammin' Shrimp Cocktail today. Just an appy but enough for a main.

Matt the bartender is a excellent mixologist. He creates the signature cocktail menu so after trying the Smokey the Cannon drink that I liked, I asked him to create something special for my second drink. I like to try new things. He delivers the best drink and even named the drink after me -- Rosa de Consuelo. Quality drinks and service worth the price. I highly recommend Matt! ¡Salud!

Do NOT go here. There are no words for how awful the customer service is. Rude, hateful, rolling eyes, tapping nails when trying to order. Please don’t give them your business ??

The service was really bad. There were mistakes in our order. Our tea was cold. After brining our food, our waiter disappeared for about 30 min. Apparently he went home and nobody else checked on us until we had to wave another waiter down. C’mon guys, this is Four Seasons. It shouldn’t be this way.

Live Oak is inside the four seasons hotel and it has a beautiful patio that overlooks the Colorado River. I went here on a Saturday night and was able to get in right away with no reservation. It has a laid back vibe and saw many people either dressing up or down. They feature tables, couches, and single chair seating. They had the patio heaters going as it was a little cooler night I just stopped in for a quick drink and snack got the dips and chips. Featuring two different hummus with a variety of vegetables and some crackers. I enjoyed both of the hummus but enjoyed the avocado one more. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Great spot to checkout if you are looking for more of a lounge type vibe.

Relaxed at the Live Oak lounge during our stay at the Four Seasons. Enjoyed the service, patio view of Lady Bird Lake, food, drinks, and live entertainment!.... The ice cubes are pretty cool too!

Four seasons hotel has a great vibe and atmosphere still; even after all these years and changes. I've been here when the restaurant used to be Trio and the upstairs bar was wide open with the piano. Also many work luncheons for RECA.Today we stopped in during the day and ordered:Cold brewDips and chipsBrownie skilletDirty martini and this is where it gets shady.Charged for grey goose $15Charged for martini $7Charged for blu cheese olives $2I brought it up to our very friendly and kind server, Cristina that I was surprised by all the extra upcharges as well as getting grey goose when it's a dirty martini. Her answer was that she assumed I wanted the best. Just because I want the best doesn't mean I like feeling taken advantage of. I was a server when I was putting myself through college. Never assume and ask; regardless I still gave her a 20% tip.For a moment I thought it would have been nice to revisit Four seasons for date night since we're locals. However, that will not be the case; I recommend the Driskell bar for drinks and stellar service.

We went here on a weekend night. The website said they had live music but as of about 10PM they did not. No problem, I can ask an employee. We sat in the lounge area for about 20 minutes and not a single employee spoke to us, so we left. Nice way to spend 10 bucks on parking.

Why... Jayme that's why. The Four Season's exudes class and wealth. Yes, you will pay more for a Jameson or beer, but you won't get Jayme to take care of you along the way. On a sleepy Friday early afternoon, the Suz and I walked in and made our way to the bar area. We also came back on Saturday as well. We pulled up a little two top, away from the other tables and not outside since it was still a bit nippy. However, I would totally spend an afternoon on the patio, overlooking the lake and the city of Austin. When we were seated, I was kitted out in my usual Chelsea Kit and Jayme came by to take care of us. Immediately the wonderful banter started regarding being Chelsea and she Arsenal. However we shared, I guess not approved in Austin, the dislike of Austin FC. She was a semi-pro player with the Women's team in Austin, coming off an injury and we immediately connected. Suzie and I were just hanging out after a tad traumatic check in at the Marriott across the street. Jayme asked for the CC since we were not staying at the Four Season's, which was absolutely fine for us. We had a few drinks, hard to screw up a Jamo/Beer and Suzie enjoyed the Hendricks Martini. We very much enjoyed our ARTISAN CHEESE & CHARCUTERIE and DIPS & CHIPS from the menu. The bottom line, sure you could probably get some cocktails less expensive somewhere else. But, sitting around, watching all the wanna be wealthy folks with Botox and those ridiculous slipper things on, is entertaining at best! The new Crypto millionaires or the older dudes with their younger concubines in tow is worth it. The service tho, was totally on point. Jayme spent time to visit with us when she wasn't helping others and made sure our drinks were topped up and food was on point. Never stayed to long or barged in when we were in discussion. The view, being pampered by on point service brought us back the next afternoon with the in-laws.. where we actually saw a lady gloriously coiffed in truly the most amazing gold dress and her partner in a tuxedo for the wedding happening in the lower lawn. She would not of been out of place with James Bond in Goldfinger. Thank you Jayme for making our experience awesome.

I've been in Austin all week and this is the best meal and service that I've had. I ate on the back patio to watch the bats which never appeared but it was totally fine because the meal and the cocktails were delicious the service by Camryn was excellent. Such a beautiful setting. Very convenient location. I will be back.

I've done the dirty work for y'all. Emphasis on dirty. And, I can say, without a doubt, that Paul at the bar makes the meanest martini in the 512. In addition to that, he's not a dud, but in fact, a quality conversationalist.

I currently live in Austin and have frequented many bars since arriving. People in the service industry here tend to be lacking in pretty much everything. With that being said... This place is incredible!! The bar tenders are super friendly and accommodating (esp Paul). They go more than above and beyond in explaining what they have to offer, taking the time to not only serve you but truly get to know you. I'm a beer drinker by fault but took the plunge into trying different cocktails because of the great energy the staff puts out. Sincerely! Thank you!

Ok, so I gave this another chance despite being sad about the old bar. I still think it's bland in a contempory kind of way and needs some whimsy or something eclectic, but the outside is super and at least they've kept some of the "comfy couch and chair" look on the sides of the bar.
