This place is terrible. Don’t waste your money. The service is crap. They’ve completely messed up my take out orders on my lunch break twice. The first time I let it go because I was already back at work and didn’t have time to go back. The second time I went back for the principle. The manager is an aloof rude jerk who never apologized or offered anything to make it up. I lost my whole lunch break and had to drive back there to get what I paid for. This place doesn’t care about customer service. The food is mediocre at best. Spend your money down the street at any of their competitors instead. I’ll never go back

We went here because we had a gift certificate. We arrived around 6pm on a Friday evening and was there was plenty of open tables - you seat yourself.
We ordered the fajitas for two; beef and added 6 shrimp. There was plenty of beef for two!
We asked for a side of cilantro and was very surprised they did not have any. It’s a Mexican restaurant. Why would they NOT have cilantro???
The fajitas were a good flavor. The shrimp were cooked with the skin on which was weird to us. Maybe it’s an Austin restaurant thing? We’ve never seen that before.
The rice was blah - see the photo. But the tortillas were made in house, thin and tasted great!

This Quesa Burro burrito on their menu is off the charts. I eat at many a Mexican restaurants and this was unique, delicious and had me leaving happy. The chips and salsa always good, fresh with med-high spice level.
New menu isn't the easiest to navigate but the food was all good. Service was very good as well. Standard interior with bar and a few TVs.

They don't honor phone orders. They start cooking only after we reach the restaurant.

Ordered the dinner bowl with chicken. There was no bowl. Food had no seasoning and it looked like some mess thrown together. I would expect better food from Taco Bell. Got 2 margaritas to go. Both were water down, no lime or salt and seemed
To be missing alcohol. Sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting. No one offered me a water or anything. Cost was $41.24. First and last time going there.

My boyfriend and I stopped in on Friday afternoon and had such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. We started with margaritas, which were perfectly made, and loved the drink specials available.

For food, we tried the carne guisada taco, chicken enchilada, and coctel de camarón. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal, and we noticed they offer daily drink specials throughout the week, which makes it a great spot to come back to again and again.

The vibe and ambiance were just right—great music, lively but comfortable atmosphere, and an all-around good energy. We’ll definitely be back soon to try more of the menu and enjoy another round of margaritas!

Came for takeout. I ordered two lbs of barbacoa and numerous breakfast tacos. Took 45 minutes. When we got home, everything tasted great and was burning hot. They probably were short handed that day.

The flavors are great! Service was good, though the requested extra salsa never came.

The plating left a bit to be desired as the dish came out a bit monochrome (in fairness I had the Carne Guisada-superb!) a little red or green would have gone a long way in livening up the dish that was ordered.

We have decided this is our favorite restaurant in north Austin! It is a place to enjoy a great Mexican martini or margarita. The enchiladas are extremely good and it is calm and quiet so you can actually hear your conversations with friends!
