Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!
we waited outside for an hour so we can sit inside and enjoy a birthday dinner for my fiancé just to have them tell us the table will be outside. Tables were empty both inside and out and it is just plain ridiculous. We were really looking forward to trying this but now have no intention too due to the lack of respect and communication.
Locals beware - not service dog friendly! Great ambience but unwelcoming staff. I’ve been coming here for years & never had a bad experience until last night. The worst part was the Karen manager who condescendingly questioned my dog being a service animal because she saw him "jump". Blatant lie (he's an 8 y/o ESA who's NEVER jumped on anyone😂) & unnecessarily unprofessional to accuse. Never offered Benji water & treated us like an inconvenience from start to finish.
