We had a great experience. My husband and I shared a ribeye and it was absolutely delicious. Perfect spot for a date night.

Delicious meal and excellent service! The prime rib and burrata were our favorites but everything was good. The service and attention to detail were impressive - a very nice meal all around!

We went here for the first day of our honeymoon and the staff was so accommodating! Not only that, the food was incredible, steak was perfectly tender, green beans had a great balance and the bacon on the baked potato was to die for. Definitely make Maie Day a stop if you're in Austin!

Beautiful restaurant, great brunch menu. We weren't super adventurous with our choices but sometimes well done basics really show the quality of the kitchen. We had oysters, our server told us that some were from Texas but they were farm raised, not Gulf. We were hesitant but they were actually pretty similar to the PEI oysters that were served along with them! Very interesting, I've never seen that anywhere (we live in Houston). We also ordered the Wagyu Burger, dusted chicken wings, and michelada and Bloody Mary were excellent, service was attentive but not pushy- the perfect balance. I recommended to my local friends who hadn't been yet!

My daughter and I had a lovely dinner here together. We were greeted warmly and taken to our seats quickly. The server explained all of the food options and which ones were good to share as we were not super hungry. We ended up ordering steak frites and mac & cheese. They cooked the meat perfectly medium rare and all of the food was really delicious. The mac & cheese was especially gooey and yummy! Will definitely come back!!

A group of five of us who were visiting Austin had dinner at Maie Day. Everything about our experience was exceptional. When our table wasn't quite ready yet because the previous party was taking a bit longer to leave, the restaurant offered us free drinks at the bar. The cocktails are delicious and unique. The whole vibe of the restaurant is so fun. Our party tried everything from the prime rib to the fried redfish to the shrimp. We took advantage of the four sides for $40, and we were all stuffed by the end. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, we had no room left to try the famous chocolate cake.

Tonight we dined at Maie Day and Josh was an exceptional server from start to finish! It was our first time at the restaurant and he walked us through everything on how to order and when. Our cups and plates never went empty and he had fabulous recommendations. He went above and beyond with my 2 year old nephew. My nephew stayed well-behaved for 2.5 hours so we could all enjoy ourselves thanks to the bowls of ice Josh would bring periodically for him to chomp on. Everyone left happy and full of phenomenal food and drink. We are still blown away that we could dine for over 2.5 hours with a 2 year old with no problems. We are ready to recommend Maie Day to all of our friends - I hope they have Josh as their server when they go!

This place sucks.

$45+ for 2 drinks. The ambience is extremely basic and average. Not worth anywhere close to $20+ per drink.

Save your money and go elsewhere. This place ain't it

Overall it was a good experience. The location and restaurant vibe is great! Our table was late to be seated which was surprising given the reservation size was adjusted day-of from 5 to 3 which I would have assumed would be easier to seat. The whole market fish was by far the best item on the menu! Unfortunately we were only able to order one because they ran out. The NY Strip streak was overcooked (asked for Med Rare). Not sure how eager I am to go back.

Average food for a restaurant recognized on Austin’s inaugural Michelin list. The “world famous” crab claws were floating in what seemed like the blandest lake of butter. The prime rib was cold, and nothing special. I’ve had better cheesecake at no name restaurants at a quarter of the price. Worst, the service was late, the cheesecake arrived 15 min and 2 reminders after being ordered. Finally, the coup de grace was discovering the next morning that the server had charged me twice on my credit card. Now I have to waste my time disputing the transaction with my bank. A terrible experience all in all.

We came in for their prime rib friday lunch special, and we're treated to live music as well! The prime rib was quite good and as advertised. I'd make a reservation if you want to be there on friday for lunch. Parking is around the back and is validated for 2 hours at the hostess stand. They had a nice selection of beer and wine to go with the meal. I liked the atmosphere, it was typical Austin casual.

Parking: Free parking with validation for 2 hours
