Absolutely in love with the atmosphere and the bar team is so knowledgeable and takes the utmost care to tend to their guests.
Gorgeous place unbelievable night. Shout out to Annie and Steve! The “Maple Mole Japanese Whiskey Old Fashioned” drink - off menu was the best! (The one that looks like a pineapple 🤣) - Please help Steve find a better name hahaha
Great, innovative cocktails in a nice vibey enviroment. Often overlooked, but reservations are necessary most days, especially weekends as seating is intimate and limited. I will say the last time I was here I was slightly disappointed in the service, being that we were there to enjoy drinks and kind of made that clear to the waitstaff but I think maybe they had their new food menu and were trying to push sales. So not sure if this has turned more into a place where they expect...read full review

Watertrade is a favorite cocktail bar and hidden gem in Austin, often considered one of the best speakeasys. It offers an intimate, low-lit, and vibey atmosphere. The cocktails are great, innovative, and flawless, with a best-looking and large menu that includes a great selection of Japanese whisky. The bartenders are top notch, extremely talented, and masterful. The small food menu is delicious and hits the spot. Reservations are necessary most days due to limited, intimate seating. While some cocktails can be pricier, it remains a wonderful and rare experience.
