Place wasn’t open when it said it was. Also, random and not typical location to find. BE OPEN NEXT TIME!

We love this place! I only get beans from them. I love that they offer free local delivery as well. So glad it's in the neighborhood!

Malone Specialty Coffee operates a roastery/café at 14735 Bratton Lane and a trailer at 318 East Fifth Street. I stopped by the latter in search of coffee and a smoothie and found a decent selection of both (they also have bagels if you are so inclined). The helpful barista recommended a Southside Caramel, and I paired that with a Green Power smoothie.

The caramel latte came with a dash of cinnamon, and it was quite good: sweet but not cloying. While the smoothie (spinach, pineapple, OJ, and protein) tasted good as well, it proved a bit chunky and difficult to drink (poor straw construction, perhaps?). This was neither the best coffee I had in Austin nor the worst, but at the very least, it’s a convenient option for those near the Convention Center.

Whoever provided service to me Saturday April 27th was very kind, friendly, and patient with me! I am pretty particular about my coffee and was loved the recommended Austin Dream. Fantastic coffee and service!

I swear the woman flipped back and forth between not caring and genuine sorry.

How you have two items that require tomato, one item that requires lettuce and you outta lettuce??
How your cold brew served lukewarm??

Loved the coffee. Much better choice than Starbucks down the street. Croissant was delicious. Will return again.

DO NOT ORDER- over priced and will mess up your entire order. Ordered 3 sandwiches, a smoothie and a coffee. Didn’t get any sandwiches, smoothie was disgusting, and coffee was watered down

I live right around the corner so I always walk past. I finally decided to stop one day and literally it took 20mins for me to get the Bacon, avo, lettuce on a croissant there was no line, no one else was waiting.I decided to give them another try just because everyone has bad days or whatever the case may have been. I went back and ordered a dirty chai, it was disgusting, the coffee tasted like it was old I didn’t like it at all, they did remake it but I just ended up throwing it away. I also ordered the same bacon, avo, lettuce sandwich and sat down to wait for it, after about 15mins the lady asked me if I was waiting for somthing…. I literally as so irritated. I then waited another 10min to get the sandwich. Long story short, I’ll never waste my money there again.
