Highly recommend if you’re in the downtown area! Amazing dumplings and excellent service. The Chili Momo is where it’s at!

Based on reviews, Monks Momo is a must-visit for anyone who loves momos. The steamed veg and chicken momos are always excellent, and the Jhol Momos are fresh and flavorful with a spicy, tangy jhol. The chicken kothey momo has a great savory flavor, juicy almost like a soup dumpling. The orange sauce on the side is a nice complement. The spicy red sauce has Sichuan chilli peppers which make it addicting. The vegetarian momos, including chilli, jhol, and steamed, are also a favorite. The filling itself is tasty and the sauces go so well with them. The place is also very hip and great for get-togethers. The price is really affordable, and the service is excellent. Customers recommend ordering ahead so food is ready upon arrival. The consistent quality and great taste make it a place to return to.
