My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary here, and we couldn’t have felt more special. We were greeted with a celebratory toast and ended with an anniversary dessert. The atmosphere is gorgeous and very eclectic which I love, and the service was top notch. Michael, our server was awesome! I was nervous and ordered my salmon well done, to which he replied, “you can do whatever you want”. That made me feel important, powerful, and awesome. Don’t even get me started...

I love this place. Food is consistently amazing. Service is fabulous. As a local Austinite (born and raised), it’s one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. It also has a great ambience

Mattie's is such a special place...it feels like you are in New Orleans and not in the heart of Austin. The biscuits and the Thai cauliflower are my favorites. We usually get several appetizers and then share an entree. The service is impeccable too.
