First time I've visited a Maudie's restaurant since before the pandemic. The quality of the food was disappointing and far from the level it used to be. Very little cheese in the enchiladas and the chilli carne sauce topping was overcooked and had an unusual sweet twang to it. The waitress forgot to even serve me the appetizer I ordered. Unfortunately, Maudie's has declined to all but a shell of it's former self. Once a long time favorite and go to spot of mine for Tex Mex, I won't be coming back for more of the same disappointing quality of what they have to offer.

Visited this place for dinner. Great atmosphere and it has good ambinace. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Food is very good, we ordered combination Fajitas, spiced it up with serano peppers. The taste of fajitas was just amazing. The flan was not very sweet and did not have usual egg smell. It was just perfect.Parking: Lot of Parking spaces available as it is in big shopping complex.
I stop in here for a meal if I'm short on time. The service is quick. The staff is mostly friendly. The price is fair. I can almost always eat at the bar in less than 20 minutes. And, it's better than fast-food.However, it's barrel food. The menu is huge. Meaning everything is mediocre and nothing is great. The ingredients are obviously made in bulk, assembled as quickly as possible, then covered in cheap cheese/sauce. But, for the price, it's serviceable.If anything, I don't know how the beans can be so consistently bad. They're just a gray, lumpy, and tasteless paste that fills empty space on the plate.

The food at Maudie's is pretty good, but the service is terrible. The past couple of times we have come for dinner, we have been placed at a table that doesn't have a waiter/waitress. So we have to continually flag someone down to take our order and refill drinks etc. Until they address their service issues, I'm going to avoid this location
