I’m not a fan of the way they asking you for tips. Only 18% 20% 22% and custom option on the screen to enforce you give some tips. Giving you pressure to not press CUSTOM button. You need to order a coffee while standing in the line, take the drink by yourself and return the cup by yourself. Then what’s the tips for? I prefer to go to Starbucks than visiting small business asking for tips like this. Drinks are okay. BTW no free parking.
I’m a fan of Merit. Love their coffee; appreciate their staff. But this location might as well be an animal shelter. This was my first time remote working from this location, and I was repeatedly harassed by people’s dogs. One jump on me, causing me to spill coffee on my shoes, others were barking at each other, and other, completely off a leash, just came under my table and started licking my shoes. I don’t begrudge the dogs…they’re dogs, but their owners are either...
The single origin espresso was decent -- a TAD too bitter. And served too hot (burnt my tongue). Medici Roasting had a better single origin shot.
