Sharing because it’s funny and I don’t care — my boyfriend and I love Merit, especially their seasonal flavors. Stopped by around 2 PM yesterday and ordered the Shaken Pecan. The barista asked if oat milk was okay (that’s how they make it), and I politely said, “Is it okay if I have whole milk instead?”
She rolled her eyes. Rolled her eyes. Lmao! I’m so sorry, queen, that asking for whole milk was such a crime. The coffee? Still amazing. But heads up — if you like whole milk, you might get some side-eye.
Also, there’s a torn car bumper in front of their sign right now. Austin vibes !!!
this is the literal most mid coffee shop in Austin & I’ve tried multiple times to give them another “shot” and every single time it’s disappointing. their coffee is mid, the service is incredibly slow, and they don’t have the highest cleanliness standards.

This café is a great spot for studying. However, the parking situation is very inconvenient, and many people occupy seats for extended periods without making a purchase. I even noticed someone sitting down without ordering anything, which takes away from the overall experience for paying customers.

Ordered a strawberry matcha with almond milk and all you can taste is the almond milk which should not happen unless it’s bad quality almond milk! Can taste the terrible ingredients, 0/10 do not recommend

great iced latte!
No menu that shows what is in each drink, making it difficult to order if you have allergies. Unfriendly staff. Not a fan.
Very sweet and professional staff. Great bakery and drink assortment. Plenty of cozy seating both indoor and out.

Great place for some coffee and treats. Seats are usually taken up by all the laptop people so good lunch sitting inside but if you can snag a seat awesome.
