Mi Mundo is the best coffee shop in Austin!The coffee is roasted by the owner in their Round Rock location, and they even sell bags of beans - and they’ll grind them for you if you don’t have a grinder! One of the best iced lattes I’ve had in a long time!I mostly make my coffee at home but once in a while I’ll treat myself to an iced latte. A lot of the shops in Austin can be a bit snobbish and I’m always underwhelmed but I’ve now had two from Mi Mundo and it really hits the spot. I’m not usually into flavored coffee drinks but the pistachio rose is so delicious! Staff is chill and friendly.
My experience of this place to paraphrase Gene Wolfe in The Citadel of the Autarch, is "[Mi Mundo], is not really as corrupt as people like to believe."Adding to that is a little difficult since it comes off as a non sequitur, but I'll give it my best effort (of today) focusing on food atmosphere and service.
