They say masks are required but it’s not enforced at all, all the bread is exposed and it’s disgusting
On top of that the service isn’t good either which one can deal with but the combination of everything means I won’t be coming back to the south Austin location on William cannon

Mi Tradición is a beloved restaurant in Austin that serves authentic Mexican cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including the popular al pastor taco, which features flavorful and tender meat. The menu also includes quesadillas, such as the delicious tinga (shredded chicken) quesadilla, made with homemade blue corn tortillas and an almost creamy interior. The bakery adds to the charm with freshly baked goods like churros, cakes, and cookies. The guava empanada stands out with its thin, flaky pastry and generous guava paste filling. The bakery's bread is especially popular, with customers praising the delicious white bread and the Rosca de Reyes, which has a perfect orange flavor and texture. The place feels very authentic, with freshly baked pastries, warm churros, and breads coming directly from the ovens in the back, prepared by bakers working from scratch. The bread is so fresh that it comes out just before being served, offering an unbeatable flavor. The restaurant maintains a family atmosphere, making it a great spot for a genuine Mexican dining experience. Although parking can be limited and needs better lighting for safety, the overall experience is highly valued. Many hope the bakery will expand into its own location soon, as there is a lack of good Mexican bread in the area. Mi Tradición is a hidden gem, loved for its authentic flavors, affordable prices, and fresh baked goods.
