Tried a selection of sushi and got a roll. Decent sushi with a decent rice to fish ratio on the nigiri. Nothing fancy but decent sushi.

Been coming here for 10+ years now and the quality has stayed exactly the same or even gotten better. They don't over charge, serve delicious food, and the service is exactly what I expect. My sister recently got her wisdom teeth removed and we ordered a ton of miso soup for her; She literally cried when we showed it to her. If that's not proof you should go here idk what is.

This place was amazing!! Our waiter was super nice and he explained the menu when we had questions. The prices for the lunch special were also very reasonable. We will definitely be back 😊

I love the spicy pork bulgogi! It’s my go-to but I have had other items on their menu and have never been disappointed! The only thing I wish was that their packaging for take-out/delivery was better. There’s pretty much always spills.

Fresh and Delicious with a delicate and regal atmosphere.

Ornate art and beautiful plants and tasteful displays adorn the walls of this quiet hole-in-the-wall sushi spot. Although the menu boasts more than just sushi. It includes savory Korean style bulgogi, a yakitori selection, mochi ice creams, and noodles to satisfy almost any coastal Asian itch you may have. They also have quite the drink menu with many wines , beers, and a beautiful selection of well curated sakes to help quench the thirst of these warm Texas days.

We decided to just explore quality of the fish first. We ordered classic nigiri selection of hamachi, sake, fatty tuna, and sweet shrimp. We tried two rolls, the spider crab and the lion king. The nigiri was awesome! Every piece was big and thick and fresh as it gets, with no tank residue or long frozen residue to note. The sweet shrimp came out classic style with the fried edible head and fresh lemon , and both the fried heads and the sweet shrimp itself was divine . Literally made me drool while I was eating it. The fatty tune was garnished with a little bit of fresh , real wasabi and the flavor just absolutely floored us. Not a single bite was less than fantastic. The Lion King roll was also very unique , although I wish it was spicy , it was a perfect blend of creaminess, savory, salty, fatty, and filling.

Our server was sweet, gentle, and attentive. We really enjoyed every bit of our time here.

Average sushi costs, although, for having no fish tank taste, it’s really a great value.

10/10 would recommend to anyone interested in trying something accessible with guaranteed deliciousness .

Our favorite spot! We come here weekly for our date night and it is always a perfect evening. The sushi is fresh and delicious (our favorites are the fatty tuna, salmon, and yellowtail), there’s a good sake selection (try the Demon Slayer!) and the staff is super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The ambience is extra cozy with the decor and good covers on the radio, plus golf on the TV. The ideal chill vibe. Glad this place exists! We’ve been to the fancy sushi spots around town, and there’s a reason we keep coming back here. Highly recommend.

Don’t order ramen, you will end up with a Maruchan ramen. I know how to distinguish them believe me. They didn’t even had chashu so they gave a piece of pork used for donburi… if I wanted a Maruchan I can make it at home and not pay $15 for it. Go to Eurasia for ramen.
This place used to be good, unfortunately the quality has decreased dramatically. Tonkatsu was swimming in sauce, and the cabbage was “decorated” with mayo and ketchup? This is definitely not Japanese food…
Honestly what happened!?
Water and the service was the only 2 things acceptable.
Also the walls could be washed and painted they look disgusting.

I live in Florida and am accustomed to very fresh seafood / sushi. Midori certainly does pretty good fresh quality, taste and value for money in middle of Texas. Really recommend Midori :-)
