Don’t order ramen, you will end up with a Maruchan ramen. I know how to distinguish them believe me. They didn’t even had chashu so they gave a piece of pork used for donburi… if I wanted a Maruchan I can make it at home and not pay $15 for it. Go to Eurasia for ramen. This place used to be good, unfortunately the quality has decreased dramatically. Tonkatsu was swimming in sauce, and the cabbage was “decorated” with mayo and ketchup? This is definitely not Japanese food… Honestly what happened!? Water and the service was the only 2 things acceptable. Also the walls could be washed and painted they look disgusting.

I live in Florida and am accustomed to very fresh seafood / sushi. Midori certainly does pretty good fresh quality, taste and value for money in middle of Texas. Really recommend Midori :-)

NORMALLY, I have been very happy with Midori but after I decided to drive over from Georgetown for dinner… this was a VERY different and disappointing experience. I was seated about 6:20pm and told the girl I only wanted 2 Phoenix Rolls. She said to wait for my server. I didn’t have much time so at 6:30, when she came for my order, I asked her to just have the 2 phoenix Rolls put into a to go container so I’d be able to leave when I had to go. She brought some miso soup, which was good. She took the neighboring table’s order about 5 minutes later and I waited… and waited… and waited. At 7:10pm, she brought the order for that table and 5 minutes later, after no food and no communication from the staff, I left a $5 on the table - I don’t know why - maybe to cover the soup and glass of water… and I left. I noticed the grub hub app said my Phoenix roll order would take 5-15 minutes… and I considered ordering THAT way because I was so hungry for a Phoenix roll, but I had to get to my next obligation. I think the Phoenix Roll was $1 less through Grub Hub. The cost pp shown is basically what I would have paid if I actually received my order.

Everything was okay, nothing fancy, decent sushi. Probably won't go back but there wasn't really anything wrong, I would just rather find somewhere with different options that are a little higher in quality. The restaurant was really cute and cozy, the decor was fun. The staff was decent as well.

The food server was prompt and polite. The salad was cold and flavorful, and miso soup was hot and just right, not too salty. I ordered the lunch special redfish and sushi combo. Every item on the plate was prepared to perfection.

Sushi quality was not great. Rolls fell apart and were soaked in whatever sauce was on the roll. Nigiri rice pieces are very small but the fish piece on the nigiri is decent size. Restaurant is pretty cramped and very dark, too dark, you can barely see your food and wouldn’t be able to see if there was anything wrong with it (like a bug or a hair)
