We drove from Houston to see The Cat Empire. The show was awesome. The employees were inviting. They kept a clear space in front of the bar which was nice. They have tiered balconies which give a good view of the stage. Unfortunately, there’s another venue next door which plays at the same time. It was a little bit distracting.
Absolutely awesome concert venue. It was easy to navigate through the crowd (one of my biggest personal anxieties), the sound setup was great, and ordering drinks was easy. If I ever go back to Austin, I’m definitely hitting up Mohawk.
Mike Coyle is the best bartender in the Austin area by far!
People go to the Mohawk just to
meet him and experience the magic…
