We had a fantastic dinner at Moonshine. The menu selection was very good. Our server, Candace, was very friendly and helpful. She assisted us with meal choices and she was outstanding. After dinner we went downstairs to the speakeasy. Bartender Cameron served us a variety of amazing beverages. You will love Moonshine.
This wasn’t just dinner—it was a full experience. Every single thing we tried was amazing, like the kind of food where you pause after a bite just to appreciate it. Nothing felt average or forgettable. On top of that, the service was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and really on point the whole night. The building itself adds so much to the vibe, too. It’s hard to do chicken fried steak right, and this place is evidence of that. The apps were good, decent drink list, reasonable wine prices but the red list is US centric. It’s a fine place for the prices and location but if southern comfort food is your schtick then you really need to nail your $25 chicken fried steak.
