I ordered the French Dip and it was alright. I was excited to try this place because the French Dip was so highly rated but it just wasn't as good as I had hoped. The atmosphere was pretty good. Also I wish the sandwich had fries included but it's just the sandwich.
I recently tried the Reuben sandwich here, and it was fantastic! The corned beef was tender and flavorful, paired perfectly with the tangy sauerkraut and melted Swiss cheese. The bread was grilled to a perfect crisp, giving the sandwich that ideal crunch. It came with a fresh pickle spear on the side, which added a nice touch. The portion size was generous, and the atmosphere was welcoming.

There is no other place I would rather get a sandwich in Austin. The service is fast and friendly. Even if you have to wait, your sandwich is well worth it. You can't go wrong with the spicy Italian or mixed deli. New World Deli is a high step above even Tucci's and Thundercloud. Tasty, friendly, and always entertaining with the live music.
