i love this club! we went recently for throwback night and the music was great! they do lots of fun events with drag and crowd participation. it’s pretty big too with multiple areas (a dance floor, a separate area with tables and chairs if you need a break to sit) and multiple bars. something i think is great too is they have events almost every single day/night it’s not like they only have stuff going on on the weekends. we’re from out of town and on our last trip to austin it was the middle of the week and all of the other gay bars were super dead but a drag show here saved the night!

Its 1 of the 50 best bars on a list in the USA My bartender is friendly but the rest of the staff is not. Friendliness and customer service is not there thing...matter of fact the staff seems unhappy and I hate to say a bit crazy the music is very good .its a big place been around along time..this could be a good date bar because there's alot of places to go in the venue to sit and talk andcstill listen to the music.

Unfortunately these people hate people of color. I tried to come in, and they sent me away, saying I was “too intoxicated” but let in a fellow fair skin, that was just about stumbling over himself and about to hit the floor. We have lived in Austin Texas for over three years and this is the first time we have been rejected from a club for being black! Do not recommend, in fact; please avoid at all costs and go to coconut club to feel welcomed. The blonde bouncer is everything we are trying to avoid

I mean. It’s just amazing. The drag is phenomenal, I’ve never had any bad vibes, everyone is super cool. One of my favorites! Drinks are decently priced too! This was the first club/bar I went to after I turned 21 so lots of good memories. I also need to emphasize again how amazing the drag queens and performers are. Absolute stars. It’s also not toooo crowded when I’ve been there. Enough where people are dancing and feeling the vibes of each other and it’s not lonely, but not breathing down each others necks.

Nice back patio, several bar areas to serve the large crowds. It helped to keep things moving and people served. My bartender was super cute. Friendly and worked efficiently. The Blue Hawaiian I ordered was perfect.

OHC used to be the best bar in Austin for drag.. until they cut down drastically ON DRAG. They’ve eliminated shows that have run for years, combined shows, haven’t had Ru girls come perform for the last two seasons. Idk what they’re trying to do, but the whole reason people come to OCH is because you can see drag any night of the week and there are specific shows for every different group of people to enjoy. Bring back 2023 OCH!!!
