Legit cocktail menu. Sat at the bar and it was super fun to watch the bartenders torch bananas and work their magic. Great authentic flavors, and loved how the small plates all paired well together. Should I mention the kalamansi cream tart, yeah I should, it was killer! All around excellent experience, knowledgeable staff, and excited for a new genre of food to be added to the not extremely diverse scene. Well done!
Oko was a great time! We loved all the dishes that we got, and the staff was fantastic. As we were celebrating a birthday they kindly brought us a dessert with a candle so sweet! The calamansi cream pie was delightful as were the oxtail dish and the roti.
Mind blowingly delicious. I can not recommend this place enough. Ok, I am a little bias, as i have known Chef Harold V for a long time... but OMG is Austin every lucky to have him there and to be cooking at OKO... If you are visiting GO. If you live in Austin I can gaurantee that you will be going back. If I could give this place 10 stars I would... The creativity, muli-layered tastes, the ambiance, the service - all of it exceptional. And - if you like cocktails sit at the bar...
