My husband and I were looking we're looking to try something different while on vacation in Austin and this restaurant popped up on IG. We were so so glad we gave it a try. The food was awesome and the drinks were out of this world! The vibe was everything. Kinda reminds us of restaurants in Brooklyn.
This was described as a “must visit” by our waitress at the Downright. The only regret I had is that we didn’t go immediately. We made an open table type reservation and showed up early. The place was packed but we didn’t wait long. The atmosphere was relaxed but dressy. When you think Chinese restaurant and you are from NJ, you have a different expectation. I would describe the atmosphere here as hip in a way that seems like the owners kids took over the restaurant...
A bit overpriced for Chinese food imo. The serving is also pretty small, even when it's meant to be shared. The menu is also pretty limited, but has your traditional favorites. The music is also kinda loud; trying to go for that hip vibe.
