The Oz Tap House is a fun place to gather and try lots of yummy beers. We had loved our experience with the “buy by the ounce” concept in Golden, Co and was so happy to find it here in Austin. There is outdoor seating which caters to kids and pups, alike. The food is ordered via QRL and arrives super fast. The menu looked great, but we only ordered apps which were yummy and filled us up just enough. This place was popular and busy on a Friday night, but not crowded and there was no wait to get in. Great place to meet up with friends!

This is the COOLEST concept! Great selection of beer you can pour yourself, even wine and cocktails too! You swipe an RFID card they provide to you that's connected to your debit/credit card and then you pour. The food is fantastic and such a fun place to hang out!

Oz Taphouse is basically what happens when someone reads a parent’s mind and builds the perfect restaurant. Great food? Check. Self-serve taps? Glorious. A playground to keep the kids busy while you enjoy a margarita in peace? Chef’s kiss.
The food is consistently delicious—like, not just “good for a place with a playground” good, but actually legit. The service is quick (a miracle when dining with kids), and the staff is always friendly, helpful, and somehow never rattled by a table of tiny humans who just discovered ketchup.
And let’s talk about those margaritas. Dangerously tasty. The on-demand tap wall is basically adult Disney World. Swipe a card, pour a drink, feel powerful. (They’ve got beer, cocktails and wine too—because options are everything.)
The outdoor seating is perfect, especially when your children have entered their “climb everything and yell about cheese” phase. You can actually finish a sentence—and maybe even a full meal—while they burn off energy in the playground zone.
Honestly, it’s the kind of place that makes you wonder why every restaurant isn’t doing it this way.

We ordered bleu cheese bacon burgers cooked medium with fries and onion rings. The food is great! Juicy burgers are cooked perfectly! Do yourself a favor and get extra pickles, red onion, and also some dijon on the side to dip your fries. The pickles are really good! Snagged a nice sour on tap for a hot summer day.
