I really hate leaving negative reviews as I don’t want to impact someone’s business so I give them three stars for trying. The flavor fell flat. I am used to much of Austin’s pho scene lacking in depth or flavor but this tasted more watered down than most, the chicken was so rubbery you could chew and chew, and the spring rolls weren’t well rolled and fell apart when I tried to pick them up.
Unfortunately the other reviews are correct. It feels like they are trying to dissuade customers from coming back. The door is not labeled clearly. The food is good, but it isn’t real Vietnamese, more of a gentrified imitation. Which wouldn’t be that big of a deal, except for the fact that the sign literally advertises “real Vietnamese”. There is still a strong smell coming from the bathroom + drink machine, 4 months later… makes me think there might be a mold problem....

Now on to the food, oh my goodness, how delicious. The iced coffee is to die for, there are so many good menu items, my favorite being the lemongrass beef sandwich. They provide the Stubborn soda brand soda which is superior to Pepsi and coke on all levels.
