I haven't been to Pok-e-Joe in years. Brisket was dry and lacked flavor, but everything else, including pork ribs, a beef sausage and sides was pretty good - just like I remember. The toasted slice of bread was extra tasty.
Good barbecue first time I ever ate there and the service. The people that cook there and the people that wait on you are wonderful people. The food was outstanding. I had the best barbecue brisket sandwich I ever had and I had some wonderful homemade potato salad that was to die for and I had a huge Coke. All you can drink and then they had a fix-ins bar where you could get several kinds of pickles. A couple different kinds of salsa. They had two kinds of cut up onions for you...
This was absolutely a wonderful experience. The food was great and the staff amazing. Kim and Steve (with the beard..smiling) were so friendly. The manager even speaks to you and he ensures you are enjoying the food and visit. Kim is also sponsoring an event in which she is helping collect items for pets. 5 star plus in my opinion. The location by Sea Bass next to CAR rental.Price was great and for what you receive I was shocked. Thanks again everyone this is Sue.
