Mind you reader, my DOB 1954, ATX. I have owned my own fusion cafe. On menu veggie offers, yet they grill on same flat top?!?????

No major complaints - a serviceable taqueria, albeit slightly overpriced. Somewhere one goes will hungry and in the area. But in a town full of tacos, it's unlikely to be your favorite.

I'm going to start this review with a high controversial opinion: I love Mexican food but I can't stand Tex-Mex. Since moving here in October, I've tried to find a place a place that makes simple and delicious cheese enchiladas. You would think this a simple request but no, restaurants are constantly trying to sneak in some other ingredients like mushrooms or spinach. I thought my quest for the perfect cheese enchiladas would never end until I found Pueblo Viejo on Uber Eats. Their enchilada plate came with refried beans, guac, lettuce and pico de gallo (my mouth is watering just typing this!). Best of all, their enchiladas were just little vessels of cheese filled goodness. Love this place!

Delicious tacos! Best corn tortillas in Austin, IMO. So glad I decided to grab a couple of tacos and a gordita from here tonight. I'll definitely be back.

Look at the size of these tacos! The fish tacos were hands down the crispiest, plump, delicious tacos ever. Hands down best. The guacamole was super fresh and don’t get me started on the red roasted tomato rojo salsa. It was so good with the thinnest, crunchiest tortilla chips that were not too salty. The queso was perfect too. Everything was fresh and delightful. The kitchen is exposed behind glass so you can see how clean their kitchen is and all the safe practices. The lady at the front was the sweetest too! I saw they have caldo de pollo, a rare thing to find so now I have a reason to come back along with many, many more tacos.

A couple buddies and I were traveling through Austin. We decided to grab some coffee at Cosmic, and saw the Pueblo Viejo food truck. Best Mexican food I have had in a LONG time.

Food was outstanding and service was quick and friendly. We're in from out of town for my birthday and wanted good tacos and this place brought the thunder. Was disappointed that I didn't get the queso I ordered, but these things happen sometimes. Not gonna hold it against the restaurant for something simple like that. The AL Pastor tacos are next level and their salsa will change your life. Go here and support local.

Seriously so delicious! I had the Don Chago and Taco Bueno breakfast tacos and they were amazing. Also, the salsa. Get it.

The one true vegetarian approved Mexican place I've found in Austin that I like so far! I had the veggie gordita - it was flavorful, with lots of stuffing, and delicious. I can't wait to return and try their tacos too. Don't forget to add the tasty sauces to your order. My husband, who is not vegetarian, loved the lamb tacos.

The tacos here are amazing and fresh. I don’t live in Austin but every time I visit I have to come here and often crave it when I’m home. The salsas are amazing!

The best flour tortillas in Austin. Get a steak and an Al Pastor and you can't go wrong

This place is great. They've got a nice selection between the taqueria classics and some slightly more interesting variations. The creamy green serrano salsa is excellent (similar to the doña sauce at tacodeli if you've tried that) and the chips + guac were solid as well. Prices are totally reasonable, and for a normal meal 2 tacos will do the job unless you're really starving/large. Forgot to mention: the don chago taco with bacon, beans, and avocado is amazing and I highly recommend trying it with the serrano salsa.
