Wonderful dinner with my UT student son. Food was excellent and atmosphere was spot on for a legit Italian restaurant. Pasta and pizza was absolutely delicious!

1st time ordering from Quattro Gatti, and the pizza was subpar. Ultra thin, with barely any toppings at all, and seriously lacked flavor. There are bald spots on the pizza that has no toppings at all. Ordered the 4 cheese pizza, and added sausage for nearly $5 extra, and received maybe 10 ultra thin slices of sausage. $29 total for bone dry pizza and minimal toppings.Plus, upon picking up the order, and asking for a side of marinara, a pretty routine request for a pizza order, the hostess, which we later learned was the owner, Rachel (?), was rude and demeaning, and apparently a request for a side of ranch or marinara is odd at Quattro Gatti.TLDR: Overpriced, subpar pizza, and rude staff and/or owners.

Our server Matias was attentive and a professional. Matias was very well versed in the menu and made amazing recommendations. The food and atmosphere just made Quattro Gotti feel like home. We will definitely be going back and Matias has made us customers for life. The owner also stopped by to thank us for our business!

Great specials. In house made Pappardelle with asparagus and shrimp is a new classic. Marinated anchovies are the way they are supposed to taste. Rosemary focaccia and the simple table bread baked in the wood fired oven are the best in Austin. Great wine selection curated by the boss, Gianfranco. The regular menu is great though more limited to allow specials based on the freshest local ingredients. Gnocchi is a fav.
I always have a good experience here.. never like to go away from things I normally order but asked the server for her recommendation and went with that. I'll probably get that the next time I'm back. Lol

Definitely a great dining experience on capital street in Austin! The restaurant is on the smaller side which made it very unique for us and the atmosphere was family-style, absolutely enjoyable! the food was outstanding and didnt take long to be prepared. Service of the waitress was great and they made this a lovely experience for the family dinner - checked in a nice way several times on us

I brought my daughter who her & I love to travel and we're recently in the South of France. This dining experience made us feel like we took a little vacation to Italy, very authentic & the owner came by several times along with recommending a wonderful bottle of wine. We had 3 items off the specials list that were fabulous. I would highly recommend checking this restaurant out for an incredible dining experience.

The food and service, as always, was amazing. I got my usual, the eggplant parmigiana, and of course it was perfection! If you want to know what classic tomato and Basil bruschetta tastes like in Italy, order it here. They make their bread in house, and it is the real deal.
