Gianfranco & Renee continue to serve some of the best Italian food in Austin. Everything on the menu is carefully curated and prepared fresh. If you're lucky to be served by Roma you will have nothing short of an amazing experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for elevated yet easy dining.

Got there for dinner on a Tuesday night. The place was reasonably full. I was seated immediately at the bar. Asked for a wine, but it tasted and smelled a little old. The bar tender was nice enough to give me a taste of a couple of other wines and I picked one I liked (Super Tuscan).
Got a Caprese Salad. It was OK. A lot of tomatoes, some mozzarella and literally one leaf of Basil. Had to ration that Basil leafy for each bite of the salad!! Also ordered a Pizza. The crust was thin but overall the pizza was average at best. Also got a dessert, brownie something and I suggest best not to order it.
I enjoyed the ambiance (4-stars) and the service (5-Stars), but the food left a lot to be desired.

I had the Fettuccine Bolognese and it was absolutely fantastic! The homemade noodles just make all the difference! It made me want to cry with how good it tasted ? My mates said the same thing about their pasta dishes! Don't even think about not eating here - you better treat yourself, lol

What we ordered: appetizers, focaccia, calamari, meatballs, garlic, and oil bruschetta. Main course: Chicken Parmesan, sausage, truffle, pasta, Margarita, pizza, pesto with a side of Wood fired shrimp, carbonara. Dessert: tiramisu, cannoli, chocolate torte. This is the first time in my entire life that I have gone to a restaurant and absolutely nothing disappointed. In fact I would argue. It was some of the best Italian food outside of Italian family making the food themselves. The entire restaurant experience was excellent from start to finish. Our Waitress was exceptional. The owner stopped by to ask how things were, which was lovely. Restaurant is small and cozy with a great atmosphere. Make a reservation online and you'll be good to go. Great experience, fantastic marinara. I must learn how to make it, but in the meantime, I'll go back!!

We have been to Quattro Gatti Ristorante e Pizzeria many times and it is always excellent! They have the best pizza and it reminds me of the pizza I ate in Italy, even the restaurant itself feels like a place in Italy. Their pasta dishes, appetizers, and desserts are also incredible. They have many dishes that are not on their menu online since they have daily specials which make a menu of their own. There is not one thing we have tried that we did not think was amazing. I highly recommend them and it is definitely our favorite Italian restaurant in Austin!

Beautiful rustic Italian restaurant, nice outdoor seating. Food is very average not bursting with flavor. Could use a bump up in taste and presentation. Servers need to improve knowledge of menu.

I love their pasta dishes and pizza! You know how you eat somewhere and the next day you’re still thinking about the food? That’s how I feel about this restaurant. Plus, it’s a family restaurant with friendly staff and great service.

The place was nice, but when they brought us the food they brought us child-sized pasta (very little for the price), and the pizza was watery and weak.

This was a great find for a nice quiet, romantic Italian dinner. You cannot go wrong in a restaurant that is attended by the owner. Pizza is amazing, so as everything else and great prices and service.
This is my sixth visit to Quattro Gatti and I decided to try the pizza this time. We came from Houston and had dinner with friends from San Antonio and Austin. Margherita pizza is mozzarella and basil. Simple right? It was ok, there was much left to be desired. The Calamari Fritti is exceptional. Every other dish I've had here was distinct from the pappardelle, carbonara, fettuccine Tre p, gnocchi, and the simplest dish the spaghetti and meatballs. But let's not forget the tiramisu!

The food is incredible and unlike any Italian restaurant in Austin! The staff and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. It is a MUST try restaurant if visiting or living in the Austin area!

We really enjoyed our last minute stop here. The food reminded us of our trip to Italy, including a very good prosciutto and burrata dish and very good pasta. The service was also super friendly and they were very accommodating of our kids.
Kid-friendliness: We had our food family style, so we didn't worry about kids options. Still, the restaurant was very accommodating of the kids. They did have milk and some juice options.

Great dishes. Very attentive service. Different sauces and flavors. Pizza with correct Italian oven. Truly Italian food. The option of several special dishes of the day that you don't see on the menu is cool and I recommend it. I only took one star off because it was very hot and either the air conditioning couldn't cool it down or it just didn't work, enough that I was sweating slightly - definitely not ideal.
