Milo and Fatih were our servers and they were wonderful! Ask for them. The food was marvelous - street corn ribs and tuna appetizers, mom had the sea bass which was divine and I had the steak salad - also wonderful. Great flavors and texture. I like how they redecorated the restaurant. Great place on the lake. Oh and the berry cobbler was so good! Great decaf espresso (yay decaf.) Thank you for a great night out!

Very atmospheric and laid back place. We were there during perfect April weather. The vibe was super chill and relaxing. Good crowd. Boats coming in and out. Peaceful lake. Will be back.

I was so looking to having dinner to celebrate my sons job promotion. From the website I thought we were going to experience some casual up scale dining. I was sadly disappointed as the music from the establishment next door made it impossible to have a conversation without shouting. The food was nothing special- I had a blacked chicken Cesar with no taste to the dressing and dried out chicken. Our waiter was very polite but seemed to rush up to order - not sure if it was the end of his shift or what Anyway I can't recommend this place. ?

The food was mostly good, except a little pricey for the amount of food per plate on some of the items. I love sashimi, and it was very tasty! However, the sashimi was as thin as carpaccio. I'm pretty sure all the combined pieces would have been equivalent to one piece of yellowtail. Still good, but I would expect more fish for the price. Even the "tiradito" fish was thicker (and tiradito is supposed to be as thin as carpaccio). Other than that, it was all pretty good! Oysters were good too! Ambiance- Was almost unbearable. There was a DJ completing with the noise from the Hula Hut next door. That on top of the chatter of people talking over the music was disruptive. I get that its a Sunday, but we didn't come for "sunday funday brunch" we came for a nice dinner on the lake. The view of the lake was the only reason we didn't leave. Another tip would be to have draw blinds or umbrellas to help when the sun is coming down. It was great in the shade but the friends sitting in direct sunlight couldn't see and got very hot. We played musical chairs to take turns from being in the sun. The service was terrible. We waited 30 mins for a waiter to come over to us (and it wasn't busy yet). The first person who came by asked "do you have any questions? If so, look at the menu. I'm being cut someone will be with you shortly". Then the waiter that helped us took 20 minutes to bring a bottle of wine and didn't bring my friend's beer until 15 mins after the wine. When we got the wine, he left it corked and then asked "Do you want me to open it?" Like we had our own corkscrew in our purse and wanted to open it ourselves. It was all very strange, we felt like an inconvenience. The wrong drinks and food were dropped at our table about 5 times. If there isn't loud blaring music on weekdays, and more attentive service, then I would recommend it. I will give it another chance!

We've been looking forward to trying the lake house as it looks like it has fantastic ambience, and views. The views were really good, but unfortunately, a little bit letdown on the food choices. Special note to vegetarians or vegan needs, do NIT go here as they have hardly any options on their menu. Waitstaff was fine and the food we ordered was average, overall underwhelming.

Second time there, service has improved dramatically (special note to the person who appears to be the manager - black shirt, was paying attention to all tables and being very hands on). Location is great as it's river front. The only issue was the noise level: with windows closed, the acoustics are horrible and the music + people trying to speak louder than the music makes conversation very difficult, even for ordering.

Service was incredible. We were freezing and the manager brought us blankets. We had a blast celebrating a birthday. The sushi and tuna tostadas were our favorite. Can't wait to visit again!

YES, QUINCE LAKEHOUSE!!! This was the perfect location, scenery, ambience, service to celebrate my father's 80th birthday with 3 generations! Thank you for accommodating us on the patio; we all felt like the guest of honor. The food was excellent and Matt and Kevin (our waiter and the host) made us feel like family. Our daughter and son-in-love have just moved to Austin and asked us to change our former dinner plans to their new favorite spot, and we are so glad we did. This was the perfect evening in Austin vibe for our group, ages 17-82. We'll be back!

It took 2 hours for lunch and we had to ask for service 4 times. Finally we were given a different waiter and he was much better, but we still had to ask him where our food was and he did comp some of our food. We got appetizers mediocre and main course was bad, but one of our party had really good risotto. Drink was good. Ambiance great. Music too loud.

Reserved a table for 4:45 on a Wednesday and we were promptly seated on the covered patio. Spectacular view. I would recommend spritzing on bug spray because there were a couple of flies. I had some on and they didn't "bug" me, while my dining companions were swatting away. If you're not a fan of the water air misters, don't sit on the edges of the patio. Happy hour is 3-5 pm, which includes 1/2 price glasses of wine. I had Veuve champagne for $14. Oysters were also discounted and my husband enjoyed his. We shared the cheese fries with brisket. We agreed it would be better to have the brisket on the side so the fries could be crispy. I'd order it again. The rock shrimp tempura was good but I didn't see any Sriracha mayo as noted. Entree highlight was the Bao bun pork carnitas with plenty of meat to bread. The Peruvian himachi was a miss for me. The fish was marinated vs. raw which is my preference. Others might enjoy. I did ask them to spice it up and they accommodated. Our server Michael was attentive and the manager Felix stopped over. They really turned around their service issues noted on OpenTable. I would recommend Quince for happy hour during the week.

Mónica was fantastic! Food was amazing. The gentleman who took over our table at shift change wasn't nearly as attentive as Monica. He seemed more interested in watching soccer. Despite that, it was terrific. We will be back.

Quince has a great menu but this was my second time visiting and getting really terrible service. There were aimless patrons waiting around the restaurant, aimless staff running around seeming unorganized, and it took 15 minutes for them to get our 2 top table bussed. It took another 15 min to be greeted, said he'd bring us water but then proceeds to take the order of 3 surrounding tables around us. At this time I looked around and I didn't see one happy customer nor did anyone have food or cocktails. Everyone was looking around and looked frustrated. After another ten minutes without water we just left. Even better - our server saw us walking out (still empty handed) and said ‘thanks for visiting us have a great night!' Great concept but they need to figure out the service side. Yikes.

Made a reservation for six and was at a table for eight which was way too big for conversation. We waited over an hour before receiving our drinks. When asked about it the waiter said his tickets weren't printing but didn't offer any apology. We waited much longer for our food, receiving our dinners before appetizers. The food was delicious and the view was beautiful, but the service was inexcusably SLOW without any explanation until prompted. I hope they get it together because it's a great spot!

What in the world is going on here? Great atmosphere and the food is better than the last place. But the service is horrible!!! We got our app in a decent time frame but waited forever to even order our entrees. We are usually very patient when it's slow at restaurants but this was on another level of slow. My first wine pour ended up spilled down my back as the waiter was pouring it. I didn't complain because mistakes happen. But maybe I should because he didn't really acknowledge it or offer to help clean it as it was spilled down my chair as well. Then my simple wine refill took 25 minutes to receive. The table behind us did not receive their first drink for 45 minutes! The waiter blamed the bar saying it was packed. However, I went and looked as I went to the restroom and there were only 3 people sitting at the bar. Then two different tables walked out before ordering. one table never got water or was even acknowledged. The other table looked like they were on a date. They got water but no glasses- they walked out. The waiter never offered my husband another drink but he was so mad he didn't want one after all this. Plus he got the steak salad which after now reading the reviews, sounds like they need to take it off the menu because it is not good at all. We have not seen such bad service at a restaurant in a decade. This was shocking and I have never seen two separate tables walk out within minutes of each other. Something is def wrong at this place.

As always, Quince was fabulous! The food is incredible, the ambiance is both relaxing and upbeat, and the staff is wonderfully welcoming! My only suggestion for improvement is for them to put some kind of awning off the back patio as when the sun hits west, it is pretty intense.
