Sending out pre made rolls that have been sitting in a fridge for x amount of time isn’t it.

Really nice spot with a great happy hour deal (on sushi - this time, I got the fried rice for funsies). Service is normally great, and the price point just can't be beat, especially in West Campus. Highly recommend to all my Longhorns!

Is there any way you can put wasabi with to sushi rolls Uber Eats orders? And also 2 small sticks of soy sauce for 3 rolls is not enough. Oh, and at least one napkin would be appreciated.

Hands down the best hostess, service, and overall wait staff I've ever received. However, the sushi platter was over priced & underwhelming given the amount of sushi it was for the price. The tempura was divinely mouth watering. My boyfriend's favorite dishes are the fried rice and avocado bomb. The food was out fast. They were very nice about letting us be seated right at last call.

Buy one get one free on sushi rolls before 3pm is awesome. Happy Devil roll is one of the tastiest I've had in Austin. Can usually find parking over on Pearl street, then it's just around the corner. Hard to believe this place has only a 3.7 rating right now, deserves way higher.
I want to share my personal experience over the years eating at this place to hopefully help others find a great restaurant they can enjoy for years to come.
About five years ago I moved to the area. Being new and not knowing many of the local restaurants, I ordered Uber Eats pretty consistently. Raku was one of the spots I found early on. At the time, they always had a BOGO special going, and I probably ordered from them at least twice a week. I honestly couldn’t believe the quality I was getting for the price. That went on consistently for about 2–3 years. Even though I had never actually eaten inside the restaurant during that time, I genuinely loved the food.
Fast forward to about a year ago when I finally decided to dine in. I was greeted by an incredibly friendly staff, our waiter was phenomenal, and the food was absolutely delicious. It was already great ordering through Uber Eats, but eating there in person was on another level.
While we were dining, the manager Kevin and the owner G both came by several times to make sure everything was going well and that we were enjoying the food. The owner even brought me some complimentary Kizami wasabi, which is freshly chopped wasabi marinated in soy sauce. It was a total game changer! If you visit, I highly recommend asking for the Kizami wasabi. Just be careful, it definitely has a kick.
I also asked about where they source their fish, and I was really impressed to learn that they import fish and supplies from Japan weekly. You can absolutely taste the quality in every bite.
Long story short, for as busy as this place gets, with the constant traffic of students and regular customers, and being open late many nights, it’s extremely hard to beat the quality of sushi they provide, the atmosphere, and the friendliness of everyone who works there.
Just keep in mind they can be very busy on most nights, but they always make sure you’re taken care of and that the food meets a high standard.
If you go, here are some dishes I highly recommend:
- Dark Night Roll
- Zesty Roll
- Hottie Girl Roll
- Chicken Karaage
- Spicy Sake Toro (my personal favorite)
- Tonkotsu Ramen (honestly the most underrated ramen in town)
- Any of the nigiri, but especially the fatty salmon!
Definitely check it out!

Blonde Asian guy and his brother called us and our table slurs when ordering, have the entire thing on video and will be up on social media.
Extremely rude employees, specifically the Asian men that served us. Super slow service expect to wait hours for your drink to be treated like crap.
