Got takeout and threw away half the nigiri and all of the tempura. Don’t know how they are in business.

This place is always great! The crispy rice and salmon is awesome and the sushi always tastes great. I haven’t really ordered a bad thing at Raku. Deserves higher than an 3.8 especially for the price point. Emily is awesome as well. Great service!

food was mid. we got crab rangoons, which were tiny and tasted off. the texture wasn’t crispy like it was freshly fried. same goes for the shrimp tempura in the shaggy dog roll. the server seemed to be avoiding us at times and we asked for straws and never received them. i did like that we were seated very fast and the food came out fast, but it seems like the food quality had to suffer for the fast service. for the price, i would not return

I was skeptical at first trying a sushi spot next to the University campus because sometimes the quality of food tends to lack, however I found Raku to be a good spot for affordable quick sushi. The service is quick and nice and the food was good for the price. Not to mention the bogo deal was good. I spent about $30 just by myself with 2 rolls (one of them was bogo) and an order of salmon sashimi .

Asked for a million different things in a big group and in a bunch of waves and they were really nice and delivered everything. The sushi also tasted great. We got spider roll, eel, and shrimp. The sake tasted great too. Their crab wontons tasted great as well and I think my friends liked their miso, egg drop soup, deep fried cheesecake, and beef over rice.

Dry long grain rice (not sushi). The salmon was rotten. Seaweed salad is mid. The chicken katsu was so thin it was 80% bread. Dry. Not good.

Bought $60 worth of sushi takeout and it arrived with no utensils, no soy sauce, no wasabi. I’m not impressed but the sushi is usually yummy. Unfortunately it was fishy today but I be back.

Exceptional sushi right in the heart of UT’s campus. The quality surpasses many upscale restaurants, yet the pricing remains very reasonable. A fantastic spot that combines convenience with top-tier dining.

Amazing experience, nice tables/chairs, decent music, the staff was really nice, got a crunchy roll to go, it was only 7$ and came with packaged ginger and wasabi!

I used to love this place. I would always get shrimp fried rice for takeout. The only place that I would get fried rice from. I used to get a good amount of rice with shrimp. But this time there was less fried rice. Im so dissapointed because I love this place. The portion was so small compared to other times.
