Ramen Tatsu-Ya Reviews
I 1000% recommend this place. I come here about once per week. Today I invited 2 of my friends to eat at the one in Lakeline. Mmmhmmm. Delicious.
Went here for dinner and it was a little chilly outside and they make you wait outside until they have space inside for seating. Not the best way to start to dining experience.
I ordered the Mi-So-Hot and they were able to add extra veggies. My husband ordered the Sho-Yu. For the price, we could have made this at home and it would have been a better atmosphere without the drive to Round Rock. We didn’t even get drink refills. We won’t be back.
Ramen taste are normal, service terrible. Never go back.

Ramen Tatsu-Ya offers decent ramen with a flavorful broth, served with thin, non-traditional noodles that have just the right bite and are not gummy like most ramen shops. The atmosphere is modern and trendy, but some find it lacking in friendliness and attention to detail. The restaurant is known for the Mi-So-Spicy ramen, which has the perfect balance of spiciness, richness, and fat content in the pork, often enjoyed with additional toppings like corn, garlic, and mushroom. Customers praise the delicious ramen with deeply flavored broth and great add-ins. However, there are comments about the portion size, mentioning only one slice of meat, which some refer to as "shrinkflation." The chashu and tonkotsu broth are also highly praised, and the spicy miso ramen is a favorite for its creamy, flavorful profile. Service is friendly, although there may be some confusion with food delivery, as orders sometimes get mixed up. The Karaage appetizer is well-liked, not over-breaded or over-fried, with a perfect dipping sauce. While the food is tasty and consistent, some customers feel the prices are high and that it may not be as exceptional as other ramen spots around town. The restaurant has a large sitting area, but it remains small and intimate, not ideal for large groups or strollers, and wheelchair accessibility is limited. Overall, Ramen Tatsu-Ya remains a solid choice for ramen lovers, especially for families and date nights, but those seeking a more authentic or extraordinary experience might find better options elsewhere.
