Always a positive experience at Ranch 616. Especially the service, the food, and the drinks. For a Thursday night relatively early (6:30) it was packed full and the noise level indoors was really high... sometimes loud enough to make it hard to hear the conversation at our own table. But that's not totally unexpected for a popular place like this.
Slightly off the beaten path of West 6th lies a Tex Mex place that features eclectic decorations and delicious food. We recently stopped by Ranch 616 and were pretty impressed by what they had to offer. As mentioned before, the decor is a bit wacky but it seems to suit the place well. Since it is right off of 6th, be aware that parking may not be the easiest to find and you’ll have to settle with what you get. This is an amazing spot for GF folks! The tortilla soup + maize chicken is an excellent starter+entree combination, one of my favorite combos I’ve found in the city. The service was great too and the NOgroni. Really nice atmosphere on the patio
