We love Chinese food and after eating some of the best in NY, SF, & Seattle we were so excited to have an authentic high-end place in Austin. The pros are that we had the nicest sever and the space was beautiful. We went for lunch on a Friday and it was dead empty but that didn’t deter us. Started with then walnut shrimp and it was so freaking sweet. Was the blue stuff on top…icing? It was not good. The shrimp stuffed jalapeños were inedible. The shrimp was chewy and tasted like dirt. We couldn’t finish this. Then we had pastrami egg rolls, which were just ok. Edible at least, but pretty bland. Ending with the 5 spice chicken which again, we could not stomach it. The “crispy skin” was slimy and there was so little chicken (for $30+) it was almost comical. The peanut sauce that came with it made me wonder if the person who made it had ever tasted peanut sauce. It was separated, overly sweet, no umami flavor whatsoever. All in all, I would recommend that you stay FAR away from this place. I do hope our server made money as we were the only table.

One bartender, he disappeared, and now everyone is waiting 30 minutes for a drink. It's empty, 5 people at the bar, and no one else in this entire place can make a single drink. 0/10 stars, would never ever recommend this place to anyone.

OMGoodness this has to be one of the best kept secrets in Austin!!

We had the BBQ Duck Lettuce Wraps, Chilean Sea-bass, Crusted Red Snapper, BBQ Beef Fried Rice and rounded out our dinner with a slice of key lime pie with sorbet. The food presentation was incredible and the unique pairings of spices and sauces.

Portion sizes are huge and it’s a great value for your money. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.

We had a great time at red farm! The waitress was slow to arrive at first but made up for it with a free appetizer which was very nice!! Their bbq duck lettuce wraps and spring rolls are a must try! I enjoyed the Chrysanthemum Negroni and my husband the Love Street Blonde at happy hour price. Service as great and food followed-up as well. We’ll be back!! You cannot beat their happy hour prices.

The food is not nearly good enough to justify their insane pricing. Like ultra insane, $32 for a chicken dish would be expensive still in Las Vegas but this is Austin! Even if they knock $7 off every dish it's only a fair deal. I was hoping for NYC chinese and this place unfortunately doesn't hit the spot.

Having eaten at RedFarm in NY and having the Pacman dumplings here...I have to say delightful the same...hurrah...ADA wheelchair accessible...please RSVP. Cute patio for Austin dog lovers...We tried and are happy to say yummy din sum that we had in NY. Photos included. The sad thing is we felt a bit rushed and the dim sum came all together so it became cold by the time we tasted them...so we started ordering things for our timing which other tables also thought was a good idea. Good mocktails/alcohol selections. But our server never came back to see if we wanted anymore beverages after dinner...which also felt rushed...go for the Food, enjoy the atmosphere and try something new. Highly recommend the Pacman.

Ambient temperature at 8pm in the restaurant was near 90 degrees. Upon leaving the restaurant I told one of the hostesses to relay a message to management that the food was amazing but we'd never come back because of how uncomfortably hot it was. The manager then came out into the street to harass us. Extremely confrontational and unprofessional. Told me I was the only one that complained and then I guess tried to tell me I must have something else going on in my life. Apparently he is an amateur psychologist or something. Either way, after spending $400 for dinner we were accosted by the manger in the street twice. Scratch this place off the list permanently.

Noodles and the crispy chicken with stuff shrimp was awesome. I may add also the pork and shrimp dumpling soup is a bomb.

The food and service were amazing. Our only small complaint is it gets loud in there. The delicious food and great service outweigh that though.

This place was freaking awesome. The soup dumplings were some of the best I have had. If you get anything you must have the filet beef a broccoli. Not sure how I can ever eat basic Chinese again. Our server was amazing I wish I could remember his name. He had so much energy and made it a great night with my date.
