Thai place is absolutely AMAZING. So glad we were able to check this place out while in town. Staff was super friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. My mouth started watering at the sight of the street corn. Did not disappoint! The Cali burrito was heaven. Will def be back.

Amazing! Having moved to Texas from NY, I felt like Texas would be the spot for Mexican food but have been disappointed with many spots BUTTTT eating here, the salsa, the tortillas, the chicken was Mexican to me, meaning it was amazing. Good job chef.

The carnitas tacos were SO good as well as the black beans and the frijoles puercos! I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with any selection on the menu and everything is very affordably priced.

I love me some Reunion19 and they are easily in my top spots for Mexican in Austin. In fact, to my knowledge, there is no where else in town where you can get this exact type of Mexican food in town. I've had about 90% of their menu to this point and there hasn't been a single thing that I didn't like. That being said, I do have some things I've liked more than others. Some favorites: their Carne Asada tacos are freaking delicious, as are their "Cali"flower tacos. I think both rival any other taco in town, yeah I said it. Their pastor taco seems to have changed since I first tried them shortly after they opened in 2019. The original one I'm pretty sure used pork jowl and their latest incarnation does not so it is lacking in the depth of flavor in my opinion compared with the original one . Some other standouts are their Aquachile, Cristobal Tacos, Prawn Lagunas, Mulita Madame, Carne Asada fries, and Frijoles Puercos. I enjoy their selection of Tequilas as well. Service has always been great. If I had one criticism, it would just be that the atmosphere is not the best, this goes for both their indoor and outdoor seating. There's just not much to say about it. At the end of the day though, I am someone who would much rather eat terrific food in not the best atmosphere vs having mediocre food in a place that looks good on Instagram (a depressing trend that continues to grow unfortunately). What they may lack in that department, they easily make up for with friendly and prompt service and delicious food that you can tell is made with great care. It's what has and will keep me coming back for more.

Tried this place while in Austin for a bachelorette party and it was delicious. The atmosphere inside is cute, but nothing special. Our server was super nice and very informative! I ordered the cauliflower and chicken tacos. Both were delicious but the cauliflower was absolutely amazing and very unique. I also got a spicy margarita, and I love me some spice, but wow that thing had a kick. The other girl who got one in the group couldn't even finish hers. Also the bar was very slow so our drinks came out at the same time as our food which was a little disappointing because I love a margarita with some chips and salsa! But overall the food was very tasty!

Delicious, fresh, homemade tacos. Authentic Mexican style without being overbearing on the salt or grease.Shoutout to Danny for being great with service and expediting my order when I had a plane to catch!

First time eating here. Great food but they were extremely slow on service. They only had four people working up in the front of the restaurant who tried their best to run food and drink orders and clean up tables in a timely manner for both the indoor and patio tables. After someone got our appetizer order, we were pretty much ignored and had to waive someone down after waiting thirty minutes to check on it and put in our food order. Not sure about how many people are working the kitchen, but everything is made in-house, and we were informed that the kitchen had fallen behind on the orders but our appetizer would be out shortly. At least one table of four who arrived after us cancelled their order and left because of how long it was taking (the inside seating area is small and we could hear other people's conversations). Service issues aside, the food was great and I would consider giving this place another chance or at least ordering for pick up. We started with the BANH MI CRISTÓBAL "TACOS" appetizer. I also had a Ring Light, which is made with tequila, lime, cucumber, mint, and champagne. It was very refreshing and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Amazing food and even better service. First place we stopped on a bachelorette trip and the owner made sure our drinks were constantly filled, the Mexican street corn is a must try! Thank you to the owner Chris for staying for us to make delicious margaritas

Never boring! Everything done with an eye for the details. They were a bit light on staffing but they were very friendly and everything served was worth the wait. We had a group of 12 so it is natural for things to take a bit longer. One quirk which really didn't matter was that they took our orders individually going around the table one at a time but when the food came out it was served "family style" so we had to sort out who got what. One unfortunate consequence of the family style serving was that some vegetarian dishes shared a platter with the meat eaters. If you have a mixed party you may just want to request that they keep the vegetarian dishes separate to be safe. About that food!! Everybody loved the tacos! We had all kinds: mushroom, camarones, pollo, asada. Their house made salsa and habanero sauce are excellent and the chips are clearly fresh. Loved the guacamole just don't eat too much before the food arrives. The vegetarians went off the menu and asked to have the tuna tostada served with cauliflower and beans instead of the tuna and the kitchen gladly obliged. My meal was the special pork shank carnitas?! A bit pricey at over $30, but the meat was so juicy and flavorful and the green apple slaw had a great fresh crunch and paired perfectly with the meat and black beans. Totally worth it! Also the sides were well done. We tried the corco street corn, the escebeche, and the black beans. Everyone went home smiling!

This was a nice place to get dinner. Our waiter was super polite, answered our questions to the best of his ability, offered recommendations when we asked, and was very attentive. I tried the Cali Burrito and it was delicious! Definitely reminds me of CA. Need to come back to try their quesadilla

I want to love Reunion 19, but the best I can do is like 'em. This is my second time here. I tend to prefer tex-mex over whatever you want to call this, but it's unique and they've got that going for them. They say it's "California style Mexican" but I sense that it's somewhat fresher, fancier, and yet somehow more authentic than even that implies. Their Circo Street Corn has been my favorite thing both times even though it's just a side. It's a cold corn salad with crema and just the right combination of spices. I wasn't too impressed with the Tuna Tostada. It was very plain, even though it had a unique array of toppings. Lastly I got the Muilta Madame. That's what I was most excited to try, but I'd call it only "pretty good." There was an unexpectedly spicy topping. I did like how the egg on top was cook perfectly, and I could choose my meat filling. Also, this is where we picked for the first date I've been on in 4 years. (Don't feel bad for me, I wasn't trying to date.) My date seemed to like his tacos, but like a typical guy, he devoured them without much feedback. Can I continue to date a guy who doesn't obsess over the food? I'm not sure. I guess at this point I give him 4 out of 5 stars just like the restaurant. Check future reviews to see if we go on more dates. Regardless of this, it's a good date restaurant. They took our reservations, adapted the reservations when we changed our minds twice about eating inside or outside, and provided good service throughout the meal. The ambience is just a little special without being pretentious. Sorry for the haphazard review but I'm busy and it's better than no review, right? If you're looking for something a little different, it's worth a try, but it's not among my tip-top picks.

Excellent tacos and cocktails. Best chips and guacamole around - it's a simple recipe and not overly blended so mostly chunks of avocado. Suggest trying the cauliflower taco which has a great cheese-baked tortilla situation. The veggie tacos are the best of the mix. Love the Mixed Blessings cocktail. The aguachili app and the tuna tostada are both great but quite spicy. The carnitas is a massive portion that would serve 4+ people but it's not super flavorful. A little disappointing since I expected it to be the star. The staff is super nice. Do be prepared for things to move pretty slowly; it's not the sort of place you're going to get in and out of in under an hour if there's a crowd.

We had a great lunch at Reunion 19! The cameron (shrimp) and carne asada (beef) tacos were very good and served on wonderful corn tortillas--bonus that the carne asada tacos were topped with a generous dollop of guacamole. But the real standout of our meal were the banh mi "tacos"--they were seriously delicious and what made Reunion 19 stand out in my mind. The banh mi "tacos" were made of thinly-sliced jicama "tortillas," topped with crispy pork belly, veggies and a savory vinegar sauce--VERY GOOD.
